Today’s Hoda Kotb Suffers Embarrassing Wardrobe Malfunction While Jenna Bush Hager ‘Screams at the World’ Live on Air

TODAY presenter Hoda Kotb suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction on air.

Today with Hoda & Jenna anchor co-host Jenna Bush Hager reported the clothing mishap during the live TV broadcast.

During the show’s Girl Code segment, Jenna, 42, painted a picture for the show’s audience as she explained, “You’re sitting with your friend, you’re hosting a television show like some people do, and you look down and you notice that your friend has something in her pants.”

The broadcast went from a shot of the hosts to a close-up of the security tag still attached to the hem of Hoda’s pants.

“Hoda, looks like you either stole those pants or they forgot to get the security code,” Jenna joked.

Both Hoda, 59, and the studio audience erupted in laughter when Jenna reported the wardrobe malfunction.

The former Dateline NBC correspondent responded: “I think sometimes the security code gets forgotten.

She stated: “We tried ripping it off with pliers,” before adding: “It doesn’t work.”

“But I want you to know that I went past seven and eight o’clock without anyone noticing,” Hoda boasted.

Jenna jokingly responded, “They might not be paying attention to you the same way I pay attention to you.”

Hoda revealed that she doesn’t mind the plastic tag hanging from her leg after the show began.

Jenna told Hoda, “I like these pants, they’re cute” before mentioning that her co-host still had the price tag attached to the outfit as well.

“There’s also the tag on the back,” she blurted out.

Hoda asked, “Is there another etiquette?”

Jenna reached behind Hoda and pulled on the tag while stating, “I believe there’s another tag, like, right here.”

“Ah, yes,” he laughed as he held the tag.

Savannah Guthrie posted photos of the Today team on Instagram, with the caption: “Looks interesting and other scenes from TODAY.”

In the comments section, fans seemed distracted by the security tag on Hoda’s pants, as one person wrote, “Forever here for Hoda and the security tag!”

“Hoda and the safety etiquette haha! Savanna is the best dresser ever!! I love her style!” commented another.

“I see @hodakotb security label haha,” wrote a third.

A fourth commenter replied: “First thing I noticed!”

CHILDREN’S DAY

Last month, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin, and Dylan Dreyer put their kids’ anchoring skills to the test by making them sit at the table on Take Your Kid to Work Day.

Craig, 44, brought his son, Delano, 10, to the set.

He shares Delano and a daughter, Sybil, 7, with his wife, Lindsay Czarniak.

Delano sat at the anchor desk with Dylan’s six-year-old son Calvin.

The meteorologist shares Calvin with her husband, Brian Fichera, as well as two other sons — Oliver “Ollie,” four, and Russell “Rusty,” two.

Their oldest children joined the hosts on Today’s Third Hour.

On Today with Hoda & Jenna, Hoda brought her seven-year-old daughter, Haley, with her.

The anchor has another daughter, Hope, 4 years old, who she shares with her ex-partner, Joel Schiffman.

The couple adopted the girls before their separation.

Hoda and Jenna, 42, brought Haley, along with half of the crew’s kids, to the set.

They had the children introduce themselves and tell them who they were related to.

When it was time for Haley to speak, she was very excited and said she loved spending time with her mom.
