THE View star Sunny Hostin has a new romance coming out later this month, and Joy Behar gave viewers a sneak peek at a steamy snippet.

On Thursday, both Joy and the talk show producer couldn’t help but hide in embarrassment after she read the cheeky line aloud.

Along with co-hosting The View, Sunny also writes romance novels on the side.

The first book in her Summer Beach series, Summer on the Bluffs, was released in 2020.

Last year, she dropped the second installment, Summer on Sag Harbor.

Fans of the series will be able to get their hands on the third book, Summer on Highland Beach, when it releases on May 28.

To get everyone excited about the next chapter, Sunny brought out a copy of The View and asked Joy, 81, to do a dramatic reading.

“Why don’t we have Joy read some of the sexy parts,” she suggested after Sara Haines started yelling for someone to read it out loud.

“For some reason, I’m like the [sex therapist] Dr. Ruth from this table”, replied Joy.

Sara joked that it was because it’s funnier to hear erotic books read in her New York accent, and Whoopi Goldberg suggested that Joy read the book as Dr. Ruth.

“Read it seductively,” requested Alyssa Farah Griffin.

After taking all her notes, Joy dove in head first.

DRAMATIC READING OF JOY

“Desire hit her hard and fast. She was burning, lit by fire, lit by joy,” the 81-year-old read aloud, before asking herself, “Really?” Behar said as she ranted through a passage.

“She had forgotten the delicious taste of mint on her lips,” Joy read as she returned to the book, eliciting laughter and applause from Alyssa.

After finishing that excerpt, Joy asked Sunny if she should read another excerpt from the book.

But it was Alyssa who intervened and demanded that she “read the naughty one.”

GETTING MORE STEAM

“Oh, it’s so bad,” Joy revealed as she read it to herself, before confirming with Sunny that she actually wanted her to read it out loud.

After everyone encouraged her to do so, Joy read, “She finally honored his demand, grabbed his butt, and guided him inside.”

She laughed at the last words before quickly falling into her chair and hiding her face behind her book.

Sara, Sunny, and Alyssa did the opposite, as they all jumped in their seats, laughing and cheering.

The camera cut to show producer Brian Teta offstage, also hiding his face and shaking his head.

“This is embarrassing,” Joy admitted about having to read the steamy scene out loud.

As everyone applauded and laughed, Whoopi interrupted to give her interpretation of the excerpt from the book.

“I can point out that she doesn’t say where she led him,” the moderator said, bringing back the scene Joy read. “She could have guided him into the house, you bastards!”

Fans at home couldn’t get over the wild on-air moment between all the hosts.

“@JoyVBehar reading the book @sunny KILLED ME,” tweeted one viewer.

“Not Whoopi saying she didn’t say where she led her,” they added. “It could have been her who guided her into the house. OK sure. And that.”

“Oh hot holly potpourri tea, Sunny being sassy,” wrote a second fan. “Go ahead, sister!”

“The joy of being embarrassed was funny,” said a third X (ex-Twitter).
