BRIDGERTON star Nicola Coughlan reveals she once sent her baby teeth to an old flame despite her mother’s insistence not to do so.
She made the bizarre admission on Live with Kelly and Mark, prompting the hosts to ask if they needed to issue a restraining order.
Kelly Ripa and Nicola, 37, started talking about the new season of Bridgerton and how she would find love this season.
Kelly, 53, then said the Irish actress is a bit of a romantic in real life, prompting a scary confession.
“I understand, you are a bit romantic,” said the host.
“Did you send your baby teeth to a boyfriend?” Kelly asked.
The audience fell silent before Nicola explained that she was six years old when she did it.
“Okay, thanks,” said Mark Consuelos, relieved it wasn’t more recently.
“I was like, ‘Is there a restraining order?”
“Yes. I was 25, no, I was six,” the Bridgerton star joked.
She went on to explain that her crush was her neighbor’s grandson.
“And I thought he was the cutest thing in the world,” Nicola said.
“And I was like, ‘Mom, send Kevin my baby teeth.’ And she said ‘I’m not going to do that’.”
Mark, 53, wondered if his teeth were loose, but Nicola said she couldn’t remember.
“But I know it would be a good gift,” said Nicola.
“It’s unique. You’ll never forget it.”

WALLFLOWER FOR WILD CHILD
When Live came back from commercial, a trailer for the next season of Bridgerton aired, showing Nicola’s character, Penelope Featherington, saying she’s ready to get married.
“Are you looking for a husband?” Marcos asked.
“Oh, she’s ready. Yes,” Nicola said about her character.
“Could it be Colin?” Marcos asked.
Colin Bridgerton is played by Luke Newton and is Penelope’s best friend turned lover.
“I mean, I think it could be. In this scene, she is over him and claims she is moving on,” Nicola responded.
“Yes. We don’t like him,” said Mark.
“He was naughty. Yes,” said Nicola.
Kelly asked if there would be sex scenes in the next season and Nicola admitted: “Just a few.”
FRIENDS TO LOVERS
Nicolas previously admitted that she was intimidated by the sex scenes in season 3.
But showrunner Jess Brownell said Penelope and Colin will “go further” this season.
“They were intimidating to shoot but brilliant to shoot,” said Nicola The wrap.
“Looking at it, we’re really proud of them, which is an amazing feeling.”
However, Nicola said that each sex scene has a purpose and each one advances the narrative.
“They are an incredibly important part of Colin and Pen’s story,” the actress told the outlet.
Showrunner Jess Brownell said that because Penelope and Colin have been friends for so long, it allowed them to go further with intimacy.
“These are characters who don’t necessarily follow the rules all the time – certainly not Penelope, who has a whole exceptional career that was so unusual for that time,” she told the outlet.
