Now, the long-running drama series welcomes Kennedy Garcia into the mix.
Who is Kennedy García?
Kennedy Garcia is the latest actress to join the cast of Days of Our Lives.
She was born with Down Syndrome and, at the age of three, was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, according to IMDB.
Originally a model, Kennedy was the first American Girl model with Down Syndrome.
She has also been the face of brands such as Justice, Claire’s and Disney.
The actress told TVInsider how she felt about being cast as Felicity.
She said: “I got the audition for Felicity last year and I was so excited!
“I’ve wanted to be on a soap opera for a long time, so a role for a teenager with Down syndrome came up was just incredible!”
What other acting roles has she done?
Although Days of Our Lives is Kennedy’s first time working on a soap opera, it’s far from her first acting job.
In 2023, she participated in the short film Bamboozled, playing Bailee. She has also acted in two Dhar Mann Studios videos.
Kennedy had a small uncredited role in 2010 when he worked on the film Pure Country 2: The Gift.

Days of Our Lives first premiered on NBC in 1965. The daytime drama is currently airing its 59th season.
While the show aired new episodes every weekday on NBC, in 2022 it moved to digital, and new episodes now air on Peacock.
