Isabella was all smiles despite her ongoing fight with cancer.
On Friday, Isabella shared with viewers and her fans that she underwent a third craniotomy during her battle with brain cancer.
She took to YouTube to talk about her experience, which came just a month after her second brain surgery.
Isabella, who is battling a malignant brain tumor, revealed she was hospitalized due to a fever and “started crying hysterically” after needing an IV.
During the YouTube video, Isabella explained that it was the first time she had an IV drip while awake, which sparked an emotional reaction.
Isabella, who also said she had a needle inserted into three different points in the back of her head to drain the liquid, revealed that she was “taking some blood” to undergo the third craniotomy.
“It’s not as bad as the first time, but I’m in a lot of pain,” Isabella said in the clip, and added while crying: “They give me pain medicine[…]but they don’t work so well for me.”
“I’m not going to lie, I’ve been crying a lot,” the college student shared.
She said she missed a Nicki Minaj concert to undergo the procedure.
However, Isabella was not alone in her ordeal as she panned the camera to show her mother, Jean, her father and her father’s girlfriend keeping her company in the hospital room.
“I was crying because it was so disappointing when you say, ‘Yes, I can finish in May,’ and then everything changes,” Isabella said later, after revealing that due to her latest surgery, her chemotherapy was postponed a month.
Isabella has been taking fans on her cancer journey since revealing the sad news on Good Morning America in January alongside her father.
During her appearance, Isabella cried as she revealed she was battling medulloblastoma.
“I told myself I wasn’t going to cry!” Isabella said at the time as her father handed her a tissue.
“It happens. You can cry,” dad Michael responded, and GMA host Robin Roberts added, “Take your time.”

“It’s been two months of keeping everything quiet, which is definitely difficult,” said Isabella, who was diagnosed in October 2023 and underwent emergency surgery to remove the mass on her brain.
“I don’t want to hide this anymore because it’s difficult to always maintain control. I hope to be just a voice and be [someone] who people, maybe [those who] are undergoing chemotherapy or radiotherapy can look,” she said.
Isabella said her diagnosis came weeks after she began experiencing headaches during the beginning of her freshman year at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
The teenager had to learn to walk again with the help of her twin sister, Sophia.
Isabella underwent a month of rehabilitation and numerous radiation therapy sessions after surgery, and continued to document her journey in her work. YouTube series.
