KELLY Ripa responded to fans who thought the TV star got lip fillers in a new Instagram video on Friday.
Kelly, 53, showcased her makeup routine in a heavily filtered upload, prompting mixed reactions.

The Live With Kelly and Mark star filmed herself applying lip liner in the front post.
She wore her blonde hair back with bobby pink and a light blush in a dressing room as she talked about her lips.
“Although I like the shape of my lips, like all women my age, my upper lip looks like I was sucked into Middle Earth,” she joked.
Kelly began tracing the outside of her lip line with a brown Chanel crayon, creating a much plumper silhouette.
“It’s going to sound crazy,” she admitted. “But just find out from me.”
Kelly revealed that she only lines her top lip with the notably dark color, but leaves her bottom lip alone because it’s “fine.”
She then added red eyeliner all over her lips and finished them off with an even lighter pink lipstick.
When she was done, her lips looked TV-ready and exactly like her signature look.
“No, I didn’t get lip fillers. This is the lip trick you monsters,” she captioned the post.
MIXED REACTIONS
Fans gushed over Kelly’s criticism in the comments, while others noted that the video — ironically, about the star being candid with fans — was heavily filtered.
“Obsessed with Queen Ripa claps back!!!” one comment read.
“It would mean more if you weren’t using a filter,” wrote another.
“Anyway, why are you trying to look 20?” asked a third.
“I would never have known this was Kelly Ripa!” she accused a fourth.
“No fillers, but definitely a filter,” joked a fifth.
One more said: “Wow Kelly, this is amazing, thanks for sharing! You look as beautiful as always.”
‘I LEARNED THIS ON INSTAGRAM!’
On the July 3 episode of her talk show, Kelly showed off the lip liner makeup trick before her social media close-up.
“I learned this on Instagram,” Ripa said during the broadcast.
“Instagram girls do this, they paint their entire upper lip brown. I don’t have that level of artistic makeup, I just don’t.”
She continued to share her own technique: “So what I’ve been doing is taking a brown liner and I line it on the outside of my lip line and then I fill it in and then I use a regular liner like MAC Spice or something else. her favorite lip liner is, and I trace off of it.
She explained: “It’s like a double layer. So basically I’m manufacturing a lip line.”
Her co-host and husband, Mark Consuelos, praised her when she finished, saying, “It’s beautiful, it’s beautiful. It really is beautiful.”
Ripa kept it real, telling him, “What’s sad is when I take my makeup off and I see it go away, it’s a lot, it’s alarming.”
‘STILL GRAY’
Earlier this week, Mark debuted his new look on Live with Kelly and Mark for an upcoming TV role.
The Riverdale alum shaved off all of his hair as he joked, “It’s like a chinchilla!” in a rather shocking review.
Meanwhile, last month, Kelly was criticized for the disappointing experience of covering her gray hair.
On the show, she complained that she is “still gray” after spending “11 teenage hours in the hair coloring chair.”
“We sprayed my roots this morning,” she explained why you couldn’t see her gray hair on the television screen.
“We spray the roots with the darkening spray. So I don’t know what to do at this point.
Did I just become a real Mrs. Claus or what am I doing?
