RYAN Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have apologized to Good Morning America viewers after showing an exclusive clip from their new film.
The actors will star in the upcoming Marvel mash-up film Deadpool & Wolverine, which will be released in theaters on July 26.
The two appeared on Good Morning America this Tuesday to promote the launch, where an exclusive clip was shown.
The teaser showed Ryan, who plays Wade Wilson/Deadpool, joking with Hugh’s character, Logan/Wolverine, about having “several STDs” in the past.
Wade sat at a diner table and rambled while Wolverine was seen rummaging furiously behind the counter.
As Wolverine rummaged through the refrigerator, the clip ended with him punching the outside of the door and yelling, “F**k!”
GOOD MORNING AMERICA!
After the moment aired, Ryan and Hugh immediately apologized to hosts Robin Roberts, 63, and George Stephanopoulos, 63.
“I’m sorry,” Hugh said immediately. “I am really sorry.”
Hugh then placed one hand on Ryan’s chest and the other on his shoulder, adding a “Wow” with a raised eyebrow as he fixed the collar of his blazer.
Ryan also apologized as he joked to viewers, “This will be our final show and we appreciate your loyalty and loyalty for all these years.”
Even Robin noticed the shocking content of the clip, which aired around 8:30 a.m. EST, followed by a “Good morning everyone!” to the camera.
Ryan and Hugh’s highly anticipated action film sees the two beloved superheroes team up to defeat a common enemy.
TOO MUCH AND TOO BEFORE?
The new film released its latest trailer last month, leaving Marvel fans upset with some of the spoilers revealed.
The clip showed the return of Sabretooth, played by Tyler Mane, the original actor who appeared in the 2000 X-Men film.
“Another spoiler! Thanks! Keep up the great work,” one person commented on the trailer.
