HODA Kotb had a wardrobe malfunction while covering the Paris Olympics for the Today show.

The 59-year-old was live when her yellow dress ripped at the waist during Tuesday’s episode of the Today show.
However, she quickly recovered from the faux pas after a member of her team expertly secured the seam with a stapler so that the tear was barely visible.
In an Instagram video posted by Hoda, she documented how one of the show’s producers, Kaitlyn Vickery, “came to the rescue” and avoided a last-minute outfit change.
The clip shows Hoda readjusting the dress’ matching belt before high-fiving Kaitlyn as she declares, “Ready. Kaitlyn to the rescue!”
She captioned her post: “Wardrobe malfunction – nothing a stapler can’t fix!”
Fans praised the “relentlessly cool” and “iconic” daytime TV host in the comments section, with one person writing: “She is real.
Others shared how they used the humble stapler to solve similar problems in their professional lives.
“Teacher here – the stapler always works! [love struck emoji] [clapping emoji]”, said one comment.
Another person wrote: “If people only knew what I bring as a personal stylist [laughing emoji]. Just helping the community, one wardrobe malfunction at a time.”

This isn’t the first time Hoda has suffered a malfunction while hosting the Today show.

Hoda has been documenting her time in Paris on Instagram for her 2.5 million followers, including her first meeting with Tom Cruise at the Olympics opening ceremony on Friday.
“You know when you dream about meeting Tom Cruise… And then it finally happens,” Hoda captioned a rain-soaked selfie with Tom, 62.
Hoda and Savannah told fans it was “a moment none of us will forget” during Monday’s episode of the Today show.
Savannah recalled that it was almost midnight when the ceremony ended and everything was “soaking wet.”
“We all went and sat down. Hoda was gone. We were like, ‘Where did Hoda go?’” she continued. “[Hoda] return [and] She’s like guys, I got it.
In the photo, Hoda wore a white poncho to stay dry while the Top Gun actor was soaked.
“She got the shot,” Savannah added. “Soaking Tom Cruise and Hoda in his poncho.”
