WENDY Williams’ ex Kevin Hunter has accused the star’s guardian Sabrina Morrissey of ‘draining’ the host’s finances during a tense divorce court hearing.
The US Sun obtained exclusive photos and videos of Wendy’s ex-husband and her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, on Friday during an explosive divorce court hearing over financial matters.
Inside the small, empty courtroom, Sabrina, the former daytime TV host’s guardian, sat at one table, while Kevin and his associate, forensic auditor Eric Pettus, sat at the other table across from the judge.
Wendy’s ex is back in court after the star’s divorce payments stopped in 2022 when Wells Fargo froze her accounts.
The father of two has been trying to obtain the former TV presenter’s financial records since they divorced when she was placed under conservatorship, as they would be needed for his discovery to bolster his argument that payments should resume.
At the beginning of the hour-long hearing, the judge acknowledged the difficulties of this case.
Judge Michael Katz said, “I know this is a difficult case for a number of different reasons. It’s difficult for both parties, but also because of the physical, mental health and financial issues involved.
“It’s difficult for both parties and both parties need to get this resolved,” the judge said before continuing: “I think this case needs to go to arbitration.”
Kevin told the judge he considers the matter to be an emergency or emergent.
He went on to mention Sabrina being named as a defendant in a case that accuses her of being involved in an extortion scheme involving another ward who is not under her guardianship.
US Sun exclusively reported on the case against Sabrina earlier this year.
Kevin alleged to the judge, “Ms. Morrissey is under a RICO investigation and there is a lot of malfeasance.
“I have no problem with the refereeing. I just want the financial documents,” he told Judge Katz.
Kevin went on to claim that Sabrina claimed Wendy has no money, but then claimed that Wendy made nearly half a million dollars from her involvement in the Lifetime docu-series Where’s Wendy Williams?
“When we were in mediation, that’s when Wendy settled with Lifetime and got half a million,” Kevin told Judge Katz.
“There were blatant lies in what she [Sabrina] has been telling us and we still haven’t seen the bank records and she was supposed to give us access to the retirement accounts.
“There was gross negligence, and as far as her being a guardian, I don’t trust this woman,” Kevin continued.
Sabrina’s rebuttal was short, she denied knowledge of the RICO case Kevin referred to, and then speaking specifically about Wendy’s supposed lifetime earnings, the guardian said, “I disagree with Mr. Hunter’s statements.”
The judge explained to Kevin that despite any allegations against the guardian, this does not make the case an emergent matter.
Kevin then continued and said, “They [the guardian and Wendy’s council] They didn’t give me a reason to stop payments.
“If Ms. Morrissey had tried to modify the payments, it would be different.”
“I’m not just worried about the money, but she came in, broke in and drained the accounts during that period. This has become a real scam,” continued Wendy’s ex.
At the end of the hearing, Kevin left the courtroom with a big smile on his face, while Sabrina looked quite stressed.
I don’t trust this woman.

As The US Sun previously reported, Wendy’s guardian asked the judge to place a gag order on her ex — a request that Judge Katz did not grant during Friday’s hearing.
GAG ORDER REQUEST
“I request that the Court increase the protection of this case and issue a ‘gag order,’ thereby instructing Mr. Hunter not to speak to the press or others, except legal advisors, about these matters and to instruct anyone with whom he has previously discussed these matters that they should not communicate about these matters with anyone else,” Wendy’s guardian demanded in a document earlier this month.
As The US Sun reported last month, Kevin is asking the court to intervene after he claims payments under the Marital Settlement Agreement suddenly stopped shortly before she was placed under conservatorship in 2022.
He is asking for payments to be resumed.
‘SHOW ME THE MONEY’
In documents filed by Kevin in March, Wendy’s ex argued that his guardian promised him access to his ex’s financial records.
Kevin wrote in his filing: “On December 8, 2021, I attended a mediation with [Wendy’s] advice and [Wendy’s] New York court-appointed guardian attorney Sabrina Morrissey.
“In this mediation, [Wendy’s] the attorney and the Guardian agreed to provide account statements and bank records that they claimed they had obtained permission from the New York court to provide.”
WENDY ‘DOESN’T HAVE MONEY’?
A source close to mediation talks in 2022 previously revealed to The US Sun that during a meeting between the parties in December, the mediator told her ex and his team: “The reality is there is no more money.”
The out-of-court sessions were supposed to resolve Kevin’s claims that he is owed money set aside for him in his and Wendy’s marital settlement.
The source close to the negotiations said that despite the mediator’s statement about Wendy’s financial affairs, “no evidence has been offered to support the claim” that the former TV star is broke.
Kevin repeatedly asked for Wendy’s financial records during the mediation, according to sources.
Kevin said that despite supposed assurances from his ex’s guardian and her lawyer that they would provide him with Wendy’s bank records, they never materialized.
During the Wendy documentary series, Where’s Wendy Williams? which aired on Lifetime last month, the star said when discussing her conservatorship, “I don’t have any money.”
“And let me tell you something, if it happens to me, it could happen to you,” she told the camera about her financial situation.
Wendy has lost her lucrative show The Wendy Williams Show after being absent for the entire 13th season.
