BOWEN Yang spilled some Saturday Night Live tea when he talked about a famous host who made people cry.
The SNL cast member appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Sunday.
Bowen, 33, and her podcast partner, Matt Rogers, played Truth or Kink!.
Matt had to wear underwear that would shock him if someone refused to answer a question.
Matt received the first question and answered honestly.
Then it was Andy’s turn and his question was: “Name a housewife you would never want to see again.”
He had Bowen call Matt and then it was his turn.
‘MADE PEOPLE CRY’
“Bowen, without naming names, what was the worst SNL host behavior you witnessed?” Andy, 56, asked him.
“Without naming names…or pressuring him,” he said.
“Well, this man, this person, this host made several cast members cry on Wednesday during the table read because he hated the ideas,” Bowen revealed.
“Wow. That’s terrible,” Andy said.
Matt chimed in: “He’s got new PR and everything.”
Bowen gave no clue as to who it was, other than that it was a man who did it.
‘IRRITATED’
Andy and Bowen must have put their differences aside because in 2021 Bowen said that Andy had banned him from WWHL.
During an episode of Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang podcast, Bowen revealed why Andy wouldn’t let him appear on WWHL again.
After podcast guest and former SNL cast member Cecily Strong said she “really doesn’t like” Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer, Bowen said, “I think I threw away my chances of being invited back on Watch What Happens Live.”

After sharing that he appeared on the Zoom talk show in the fall of 2020, Bowen said, “They did a segment where they said, ‘Bowen, you’re just going to recite what you think about housewife stuff between Potomac and New York,’ and all these things and I thought, ‘Of course.’
“And then they got to Ramona and I was like, ‘She’s a white supremacist and blah, blah.’”
“I hit a nerve, but Andy looks really pissed,” he said.
THIS IS A WRAP
Despite crying over a host, Bowen is expected to return to SNL this season.
However, two cast members will not return for the iconic 50th season.
Punkie Johnson, who has been on the show since 2020, announced she was leaving earlier this month.
“I just want you to know, after four seasons, I will not be returning to SNL for the 50th,” she said in an Instagram. video.
Molly Kearney, the show’s first non-binary cast member, also announced she would not be returning just days after Punkie.
“Damn, that ruined my time on SNL!” they he wrote on Instagram.
“Reflecting back on the incredible 2 seasons I had on this show, it was a dream come true.”
“It was a true honor to work with such a talented group of writers and don’t even get me started on the casting,” they continued.
Molly joined SNL in 2022.
The 50th season will premiere on September 28th.
