The ABC medical drama, its spinoff show Station 19 and 9-1-1 will not air on Thursday.

That’s because the 2024 NFL Draft is debuting.

The distinguished sporting event will take place from 8:00 pm to 11:30 pm Eastern Standard Time.

Because the special occasion’s schedule conflicts with Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19 and 9-1-1, all three shows will be paused this week.

9-1-1 airs every Thursday at 8pm EST, and Grey’s Anatomy airs every Thursday at 9pm-10pm EST/Pacific Standard Time.

Station 19 brings up the rear, typically airing every Thursday from 10am to 11pm EST.

Although the NFL Draft is a major occurrence each year, many people have taken to social media to complain about the interference on Grey’s Anatomy, Station 19, and 9-1-1.

TV fans vented on X, Twitter, and Instagram that they were tired of all the mini-hiatus each show took this season.

“Here America, what’s going on with the mid-season breaks? Absolutely no need when there’s only 1 episode a week! #greysanatomy #9-1-1 #station19,” lamented one X user.

Meanwhile, on Instagram, one fan added: “When shows start doing this I lose interest really fast.

Another Instagram user wrote: Why do we have to wait 3 weeks for episode 6???? There are many other good programs to binge @greysabc that leave us in suspense for a long time and make the interest die quickly.

I’ve been a fan since the beginning but all this waiting is making me lose interest in the series.”

9-1-1 was in the hot seat, just as Grey’s Anatomy and its spinoff, Station 19, were.

Fans developed a strong attachment to 9-1-1 over its six seasons on ABC.

LACK

“First Thursday without #911onABC #911ABC I HATE THE HIATUS”, confessed an X user.

“Wow, it would be really nice to have a new episode of #911onABC in 30 minutes,” added another sarcastically.

“Just go back, we can’t wait 2 weeks #911onABC,” demanded a third person.
