Fans of Netflix’s Ginny and Georgia Rage as Lead Stars in Hulu Movie Even though the Show’s Third Season Hasn’t Been Released Yet

The star of NETFLIX’s Ginny & Georgia has jumped ship to work on a new Hulu movie.

Antonia Gentry, 26, plays Ginny on the Netflix comedy show, but has started taking on other projects.

Ginny & Georgia aired the first two seasons of the show, and the last episode aired on January 5, 2023.

It’s been over a year now, fans are on edge as they wait for the third season.

To make matters worse, the season 2 finale ended on a huge cliffhanger where Georgia was arrested.

Season 3 has already been greenlit by the streaming service.

However, Felix Mallard – who plays Marcus Baker – revealed that the cast has not yet started filming in an interview with Screen speech.

As the cast prepares to begin filming, fans should prepare to wait until spring 2025 for new episodes.

Meanwhile, Antonia is busy on the set of a new Hulu movie, Prom Date.

The film’s trailer was released on Thursday and will be released on the platform on May 3rd.

The film follows two best friends named Jess, played by Antonia, and Hannah, played by Julia Lester.

The pair made a pact to throw the perfect prom, and they are determined to honor that pact.

“But with just 24 hours until the big event, everything falls apart as they finish each of their dates.

“Jess and Hannah have a night to find new dates and live out their high school fantasies,” as stated in Phone Movie.

The coming-of-age film promises lots of laughs and relatable content.

It also stars comedian Chelsea Handler and John Michael Higgins.

Netflix viewers on X, formerly known as Twitter, are growing impatient as they wait for season three.

One said: “I’ve lost all hope of getting another season of Euphoria. Just hurry up and bring back Ginny and Georgia, man.”

“Yes! I just said something about Ginny and Georgia, where are my girls,” asked another.

A third wrote: “I thought this was the trailer for part 3 of Ginny & Georgia,” after seeing the trailer for Prom Dates.

“Where the hell are Ginny and Georgia in season 3,” commented one fan.

A fifth said: “Girl, go back to the Ginny and Georgia set NOW,” in response to Antonia being in the Hulu trailer.
