STATION 19 star Danielle Savre highlighted the show by cutting a sweet moment between her character Maya and her wife Carina in the newest episode.

Fans were hoping for a sweet kiss between the couple after ABC shared a promotional photo of the scene, but it was cut short in the actual broadcast.

Last week, Station 19 released photos from the show’s May 2 episode in order to promote the broadcast and tease what viewers could expect to see.

There were a number of photos of the firefighters in their gear and working, but there were also some Maya and Carina spending time together at a bar.

In the blink of an eye, the two looked at each other lovingly as they laughed together.

The second photo, which was shared throughout the fandom, showed Marina (name of the couple’s couple) kissing.

When the episode aired, however, the actual kiss was not shown.

The scene arrived a few minutes after the beginning of the episode,

After the show began showing “Last Spring” at the Seattle Fire Department, it cut to show Maya and Carina sitting at the bar, already finishing their kiss.

Fans who live-tweeted the episode criticized Station 19 for not showing the full moment that was teased in the promotional photo.

DISTURBING DECISION

Star Danielle also joined the online conversation to announce the decision.

“Hi! I’m here,” she tweeted on X (formerly Twitter). “I’m just struggling to understand why they decided to post a photo of the kiss but not release the entire scene.”

“Keeping my thoughts to myself,” she added at the end of her tweet.

“Girl, speak your truth,” one fan told her.

“YOU ARE TOO REAL FOR THIS,” insisted a second X user. “We are all having the exact same thoughts.”

“Yeah, I think we’re all on the same page here,” a third fan wrote. “I appreciate you talking about this – it means a lot.”

“ABC using ‘Hot Marina at 10pm’ as clickbait for new season, but cutting out all the kissing,” another upset fan exploded.

FAN SUGGESTIONS

A short clip of what the city looked like at night was shown as a transition between the two scenes, but fans online said this moment could have been dropped to allow for Marina’s full kiss.

“Literally shouldn’t have put those buildings there and shown us the kiss, I don’t know,” one angry fan tweeted.

“They broke the kiss and showed us buildings,” said another.

Although the episode has already aired, fans are begging the show to rectify the situation by releasing an extended edit of the scene.

“Who do we need to bribe/talk to to see deleted/extended scenes,” asked one viewer.

“We need every deleted Marina scene that ever existed,” insisted another.

Viewers said they were even more upset by the decision since this is the last season of Station 19.

The show was canceled last year and is currently airing its seventh and final season.

Promotional photos showed the kiss between Maya and Carina, but the actual episode shortened the moment and only saw the pair breaking out of the kiss.
