Cast members will have their “minimum guarantees reduced by 2 episodes next season,” according to Deadline.

However, FBI: International was not affected by the change.

FBI will air its seventh season on CBS, while FBI: Most Wanted will have a shortened sixth season.

FBI has already earned a three-year withdrawal, but it’s unclear if the shortened seasons will be for all three.

Each spinoff show has had two-year renewals.

International is not affected because half of their cast are international actors and they only have four series regulars left who are “not as established,” the outlet reported.

FBI and Most Wanted have larger casts and regular films in the United States.

While reducing episodes doesn’t affect the cast’s per-episode pay, it does reduce their overall pay in the end.

CBS shows typically have more than 20 episodes per season.

However, the sixth season of the motherboard show only had 13.

International fans ‘so disappointed’ by fan-favorite star’s departure and admit actor was ‘main reason’ they watched

‘A POWERFUL FORCE’

Amid news of the multi-year renewals, the president of CBS spoke on the programs.

“All-FBI Tuesday is a powerful force to be reckoned with in our primetime lineup,” said Amy Reisenbach The wrap.

“Dick Wolf and the talent in front of and behind the camera across all three series continue to deliver top-notch storytelling, riveting action and intrigue that has captivated a dedicated fan base steadily over multiple seasons. We’re excited to see what next season has in store for all of these heroic characters.”

FBI producer Dick Wolfe also spoke about his enthusiasm for the renewal.

FBI fans were upset to hear about the shortened seasons.

“Absurd,” said a user of X, formerly Twitter.

“Remember FBIS is one of the best performing shows on network television,” one fan pointed out.

“Pretend to be shocked,” added a third.

“BOOOO,” said another.

“This really messes with the dynamics of the show,” said another.
