RONEN Rubenstein shared a promise to 9-1-1: Lone Star fans amid rumors the series has been canceled by Fox.
The cast is currently working on the beloved drama’s fifth season, but some fans are convinced it will be the last.

Amid the conversation, Ronen, 30, addressed a recent report about an actress leaving the show and the uncertainty about what will happen after the next season, if anything.
He vowed that he and his co-stars would not give up on the series.
“Nowhere in this article was a clear destination for our program indicated,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
“But one thing I know for sure is that we will continue to pour our blood, sweat and tears into these final episodes and deliver to you our most special season yet.”
“Better see you all in September,” he concluded.
In another Instagram Story post, Ronen shared an article from Variey about the show’s potential cancellation along with a call to action.
“Guys, we have to show up in September like never before,” he wrote.
Likewise, Rafael Silva, 29, who plays police officer Carlos Reyes – husband of Ronen’s character TK Strand – in the procedural, was grateful for the move to appear on the show.
The actor took to his Instagram Story to address fan speculation.

Neither Ronen nor Rafael have addressed Sierra McClain’s decision to step away from 9-1-1: Lone Star.
The actress – a fan favorite – played Grace Ryder on 9-1-1: Lone Star.
Moving away
The news of his departure was shared on June 7 by Deadline.
The news of her departure, as well as some seemingly revealing posts from other stars, left fans convinced that the drama series was coming to an end.
Robyn Lively, who stars as Marlene Harris, mother of Jim Parrack’s character Judd’s son, posted and then deleted a goodbye to the show on social media.
“So excited to be a part of the final season of @911lonestar!! What a journey it has been!” she wrote in a since-deleted post.
Other stars have expressed similar sentiments online, although no official announcement has been made.
Fox Entertainment CEO Rob Wade told Deadline in May that the network was working to make a decision on whether to renew the show.
He stated, however, that it would all depend on how viewers received the fifth season, which premieres this fall.
The cast will remain at option until production on 9-1-1: Lone Star concludes on July 19.
According to Deadline, these options are unlikely to be renewed.
The channel also noted that while there are options to continue the show, the fifth season is expected to be the last.
Furthermore, it appears that most of the series’ main characters have believed it was ending since the end of 2023.
CONTRACT DRAMA
At the time, the program was facing difficulties in contract negotiations with its cast.
The actors’ representatives approached 20th Television in 2022 about possible raises ahead of season four production.
Series regulars signed a six-year contract with raises built in, but it’s common for actors on successful shows to renegotiate the deal to secure more money and add more years.
These negotiations were unsuccessful and the studio postponed renegotiations until after the fourth season.
The cast continued to press, and after major strikes across Hollywood, the cast was told there would be no renegotiations.
The decision signaled the imminent end of 9-1-1: Lone Star after the fifth season.
Fox has canceled Lone Star’s parent series 9-1-1.
The show was picked up by ABC and is currently airing its seventh season.
Fans rallied in May, calling for 9-1-1: Lone Star to be saved.
The CEO of Fox Entertainment blamed the strike for production delays.
“Lone Star wasn’t scheduled this year because of the strike, and we’re really looking forward to getting it back in the fall,” he told Deadline at the time.
“We are excited about the new season,” he added.
We’ll see how this plays out, as always, and then make decisions about the future of the franchise.

Fox will premiere a lifeguard drama called Rescue HI-Surf this fall.
The show will air immediately after 9-1-1: Lone Star.
