Fans flooded social media asking for Jonathan Jackson’s character Lucky Spencer, who was last seen on the show in 2015.

During the 51st Daytime Emmy Awards on Monday, General Hospital executive producer Frank Valentini teased that a popular male star is set to return to the show.
However, Valentini did not say which particular star would be returning.
“A former cast member is returning and I think the audience is going to go crazy…for him,” Valentini said.
Following the interview, fans flooded social media demanding Jonathan Jackson reprise his role as Lucky Spencer.

“I would love for Lucky to come back… IJS,” expressed one user via X, formerly Twitter.
“Laura needs her kids so Lucky is my best bet,” pleaded another with a GIF of SpongeBob pleading.
A third X user said: “Lucky needs to come back so Elizabeth can leave Jason alone.”
Lucky began his role on the show in 1993 and was last seen in 2015 when he reunited Jake and Liz.
BACK FROM DEATH?
In addition to Jonathan Jackson’s character, fans have also expressed interest in seeing the return of Bryan Craig’s character, Morgan Corinthos.
After the interview, Bryan added fuel to the fire by responding to an article posted on X.
“Who could it be……” he replied.
This made fans go crazy, demanding that he be the one to return.
“Bryan, I hope you’re not teasing us. Would love to see you back on #GH,” one person responded to the tweet.
“Morgan would bring more drama,” said another.

While many would love to see Morgan, who died on the show in 2018, others are skeptical about his potential return.

Another tweeted: “I hope it’s not Morgan. I think it’s Mac.”
FALLEN STARS
News of the characters’ return comes after the series suffered some real-life losses, including Johnny Wactor, who played Brandon Corbin, who was killed off on May 25.
Robyn Bernard, who played Terry Brock in the previous series, passed away on March 12.
Last year, fans were hit by the deaths of more General Hospital stars.
On May 9, 2023, Jacklyn Zeman, who played Bobbie Spencer on the show, died at age 70.
On Halloween that year, Tyler Christopher, who played Nikolas Cassadine and Connor Bishop, also passed away at the age of 50.
