JESSE Tyler Ferguson has criticized his Modern Family co-stars for snubbing him in a group moment in a new ad campaign.
The actor, 48, and his co-stars Ty Burrell, 56, Julie Bowen, 54, and Eric Stonestreet, 52, appeared in a new WhatsApp commercial released earlier this week.

It showed Ty, Julie and Eric, in character, curled up on the couch with their eyes glued to their cell phones.
Eric, who plays Cameron Tucker on the series, spoke to Ty (Phil Dunphy) and Julie (Claire Dunphy) about a new photo of his twins that he would share with them.
Jesse (Mitchell Pritchett) then walked into the pow-wow, asking to see the photo, but Phil told him he was in the group chat, to which Claire and Cameron nervously looked at Phil for revealing his private chat room. .
Mitchell immediately went looking for the photo, but quickly realized it wasn’t in the regular family group chat he was in.

“You started a family chat without me? Shame on you!” Mitchell shouted, pointing at the guilty trio.

They defended themselves, telling Mitchell that his old phone’s features were the reason they deleted it.
A man outside painting the house interrupted through the window that chatting via WhatsApp would solve the problem.
The clip ended with Cameron and Mitchell lying in bed, happily scrolling through the app this was now a part of.
“This is fun. I still can’t believe you shut me out,” Mitchell told his partner.
Cameron tried to downplay his actions, telling Mitchell, “We may have cut you from here, but never from here,” and placed his hand over his heart.
Jesse recently sparked rumors that a Modern Family reboot could be in the works after sharing a photo of him on the set of the ABC show.
“I haven’t seen this in a while,” Jesse captioned the Instagram post.
He didn’t explain why he was on set, but fans suspected he might have hinted at a Modern Family return.
This wasn’t the first time Jesse thrilled fans with a trip back to his Modern Family days.

Jesse also shared the photo on his Instagram page.
“I took my sister to see the kid in the school musical, The Theory of Relativity,” Jesse wrote, referring to his on-screen sister, Julie.
The cast has remained close since the series ended in 2020 after 11 seasons.
In August 2022, the group reunited again to celebrate co-star Sarah Hyland’s wedding to her longtime love, Wells Adams.
