FANS of The Equalizer have theorized that CBS is planning to cancel the show after several frustrating scheduling updates for the latest episodes.
The drama series went off the air last night and the week before, and a new episode won’t arrive until April 21st.
Fans believe CBS will cancel The Equalizer as their frustration with the biweekly episodes grows.
The show official Instagram page shared a teaser for an upcoming installment of the series on Friday.
But viewers were more distracted by the two-week hiatus since the last episode, sharing their anger in the comments section.
“You guys are annoying me with these bi-weekly episodes. I’ve been waiting a month for episode 6??? Why is this a good idea? Is the show on or not??” one admitted.

“At this point I believe they are trying to cancel the show,” a second theorized.
“Three weeks between episodes? What’s going on?” a third wondered.
“Where’s the episode?” a fourth demanded in all caps.
“Where are the new episodes???” a fifth asked.
“Any new episodes released?” another wrote.
MARCH MADNESS
Fans have been furious about the lack of new episodes of The Equalizer for some time now.
Last month, the action series took a two-week long break due to March Madness.
Fans were frustrated by the CBS series’ decision to double the time between new episodes, just weeks after Season 4 began on February 18.
“OMG you guys are really killing me with these two week breaks between episodes,” one said on social media.
“Same here. But there are only 10 episodes this season, so I think they’re stretching it,” a second agreed.
“Two weeks?!” a third written.
“Don’t wait another two weeks,” complained a fourth.
“March madness really ruined my TV show plans because now I have to wait two more weeks for @TheEqualizerCBS,” another explained.
TRAGIC LOSS
The Equalizer recently paid tribute to Queen Latifah’s late assistant, Kristina Jones.
Jones died on May 23, 2023, from ovarian cancer at age 53.
US Sun exclusively revealed that Jones had a great relationship with Queen Latifah.
Her uncle, Lancelot Owens, said she went by the nickname Tina and was loved on the set of The Equalizer.
QUEEN’S FRIEND
The professional assistant was closest to the show’s main star, Queen Latifah.
According to Lancelot, who also works as an advisor for the program, the actress treated her like family.
“She was on call for everything Latifah wanted,” he told The US Sun in an exclusive interview.
“Sometimes she had to do different runs during the set. She was like his Girl Friday,” comparing his niece to a woman who wore many hats.
Lancelot went on to say that the two “loved each other” and “had a great relationship.”
“Tina affected everyone [on set] with her approach and how she did everything.
“Her daily slogan was that she loved everyone, even if I didn’t shake hands.”
Lancelot said that at the time of Kristina’s death, “everyone came together” and helped as much as they could, including Queen Latifah.
“Well, that’s a family member…she did what she could. She was there to help.”
