FANS are worried the Conners could be kicked to the curb.

The ABC sitcom has not yet been renewed for a seventh season — and is devising a plan in case the show is suddenly canceled.

The Conners originally emerged from the Roseanne reboot, which was canceled after just one season after series star Roseanne Barr was fired for going on a series of racist and Islamophobic rants on what was then known as Twitter.

Network executives decided to revamp the show, keeping the rest of the cast, including star John Goodman, and changing it to focus on the Conner family as a whole.

Now, after six seasons, a seventh is in serious danger.

The final season premiered in February, but series star Ames McNamara, who plays Mark Conner-Healy on the show, recently shared a series of photos from the final days of filming.

“Last week of season 6,” he posted in caption. “Thank you everyone for a great season!!!!”

But no one in the cast has a contract for season seven yet – and there are rumors that negotiations haven’t even started yet.

“In recent years, the actors, who were on one-year deals from the beginning, would have already finished negotiating new contracts, paving the way for a renewal, which inevitably followed,” he said. Deadline reported. “This time, the focus has been on renewal negotiations.

“If they are successful, I hear the Conners will likely be retained for a seventh and final season.

The site added that a contingency plan is in place should the season finale suddenly become the series finale.

“We have a final episode that could be one or the other,” said executive producer Bruce Helford, adding that he “loves” the “emotional” and “unexpected” ending.

THE END IS NEAR?

The show will also have to survive a time change.

While The Conners will air every Wednesday at 8pm starting May 1st, new episodes will air at 9:30pm for the rest of the season.

The show is paving the way for Jeopardy! Masters at 8 p.m., followed by Abbott Elementary at 9 p.m.

Time changes always end up confusing viewers, who are already nervous about the possibility of missing the program.

“Is this the last season?” one person begged to know online, while another added: “I hope it’s not that.”

“I hope you guys come back!!” echoed a third.

While a fourth begged: “Please keep doing The Conners. I love this show.”

PINK DAYS

The original series, Roseanne, was known for its portrayal of working-class Americans and strong women.

It was loosely based on the life of Roseanne Barr and was a huge success.

The cast and plot became famous as the show tackled gay characters and the AIDS crisis in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

Nine seasons aired between 1989 and 1997, earning four Emmys, 27 nominations and three Golden Globes.

Roseanne was rebooted with a tenth season in 2018, featuring the return of the original cast and characters.

But it all came to a halt when the real Roseanne was fired due to her racist tweets about Valerie Jarrett, a former black advisor to Barack Obama.

The show was then revamped, with John Goodman as the lead, and became a hit like The Conners.
