A spin-off of the hit drama Suits has been greenlit at NBC.
The original series starred Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle.

On Friday, it was reported that NBC had placed an order for Suits: LA.
The TV series is set in the same universe as the original, but in Los Angeles, California.
The network ordered a pilot in February and began filming in the spring.
No release date information has been revealed.
In the first look at the series, Arrow star Stephen Amell sits at a desk with a serious expression.
Stephen plays Ted Black, a former New York federal prosecutor who now runs a law firm in Los Angeles.
Per The Hollywood ReporterThe show’s synopsis read: “His company is at a crisis point, and to survive, he must embrace a role he has played with contempt throughout his career.
“Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalty to both Ted and each other, while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives.”
The show also stars The Walking Dead’s Josh McDermitt, Ricky Stanicky star Lex Scott Davis and One Tree Hill alum Bryan Greenberg.
Suits creator Aaron Korsh returned as executive producer, as did David Bartis, Doug Liman and Gene Klein.
