MARISKA Hargitay reminded the city who’s boss by braving the heat while filming another season of Law & Order: SVU.
The television star was spotted filming the 26th season of NBC’s hit crime drama in New York City.
Mariska was seen on the set of Law & Order: SVU season 26 on July 19, 2024.
Despite the scorching heat, the actress wore a black blazer and black pants while playing Olivia Benson, her longtime character on the series.
His sunglasses possibly offered him some relief from the scorching sun.
In April 2024, Mariska halted production for 20 minutes while filming a later episode of the 25th season of Law & Order: SVU.

During the set of The Big Apple, a scared young woman approached the star, thinking she was a real-life police officer due to Olivia’s badge.
The girl did not notice the cameras, the camera crew or other actors on the set.

“Kelli is my favorite actor to work with. Kelli is my heart. It’s a touchy subject. I have a lot to say on the show, but I didn’t have enough there,” she shared.
“I don’t like not being heard, especially when I’m right. That relationship was one of the most powerful relationships on television because you saw these two badass women, so flawed and so present for each other.”
Kelli returned as a special guest for the Season 25 premiere in January 2024 and appeared again in the season finale.
It is unknown if she will return to the show long-term.
