A BELOVED Saturday Night Live cast member has said goodbye to the iconic series.
The news comes after another comedian left SNL.

On Friday, Molly Kearney revealed that she would not be returning for the upcoming 50th season of SNL.
On a emotional post shared on her Instagram, the star shared several photos from her time on the show.
For the caption, they wrote, “This is the end of my time on SNL!
“Reflecting back on the incredible two seasons I had on this show, it was a dream come true.
“Very grateful for this period in my life. Much love to all my great friends behind the scenes who make the magic happen every week.
“So many bald heads, so little time.
“It was a true honor to work with such a talented group of writers and don’t even get me started on the casting,” they said.
They concluded the post by giving a shoutout to the team that has been with them since the beginning.
Molly made her SNL debut in 2022 and was the show’s first non-binary cast member.
‘YOU ARE A STAR’
Many fans, cast and crew members praised the star in the comments section.
SNL star Ego Nwodim said, “I love you, my baby.”
“My baba,” commented star Heidi Gardner.
Chloe Fineman wrote: “Best friend!!!!!!”
One follower wrote: “You are a legend, you are an icon, you are a star, you are everything.”

“Proud of you, Mol! Exciting things are coming,” said another person.
MOVING
On Thursday, Punkie Johnson revealed She wouldn’t come back either.
On her Instagram, she uploaded a video confirming the news.
“After four seasons, I will not return to SNL.”
She said that during a recent comedy show, she opened the floor for questions, with SNL cast members and writers in the audience.
Punkie was asked what she was hoping for in season 50.
“I said, ‘I’m not going back.’
“It’s no feud, there’s no burned bridges, there’s no hard feelings.
“Bro, I love my people! I didn’t think any of this would be a big deal.
“SNL was a dream I didn’t even know I could achieve. I was part of one of comedy’s elite institutions and I’m so grateful for that.”
