TWO shows were involved in CBS’ latest round of cancellations.

CSI: Vegas and So Help Me Todd are two shows that have shined on the CBS schedule in recent years.

However, the aforementioned series are ending: CSI: Vegas after three seasons and So Help Me Todd after two.

Both shows are the last to be cancelled, The Hollywood Reporter reported on Friday.

CBS recently renewed 11 scripted shows for the 2024-2025 season, and CSI: Vegas and So Help Me Todd were not included.

Low ratings were far from being the reason for the program’s cancellation.

The crime drama garnered 6.4 million viewers per episode; Meanwhile, the dramedy had about 6.3 million views, according to Nielsen’s seven-day linear ratings, as reported by THR.

CSI: Vegas and So Help Me Todd’s high ratings weren’t enough to save them from cancellation because excellent ratings seem to be the standard at CBS.

Since mid-February, CBS has had 12 of the 15 most popular scripted series on TV.

After the shows were canceled, many fans aired their upset with CBS’ decision on X, also known as Twitter.

“Nooooo I love So Help Me Todd,” one fan complained on the social media platform.

“What a bummer. I look forward to both shows each week,” expressed one user X.

WRONG MOVEMENT?

“WHAT IS WRONG WITH @CBS,” another exploded.

“Nooo, not CSI Vegas, I like that show #saveCSIVegas,” one social media user complained.

“I’m sad and angry. I want them both renewed! CSI was a ratings juggernaut for over a decade,” said a third fan.

“Certainly, the revival ratings weren’t the same, but treating the series like this is horrible. For So Help Me Todd, we don’t intend to stop there. No, no and no. #SaveSoHelpMeTodd.”

“This sucks. They might get caught by someone else,” someone mentioned.

Furthermore, another person criticized: “Wait, what can you be kidding me? So Help Me Todd was cancelled…”

NOT SURPRISED

Among the countless TV fans who were outraged to learn that CBS had pulled the plug on CSI: Vegas and So Help Me Todd, some admitted they had been expecting it.

“I saw a CSI: Vegas cancellation coming. I’m not surprised,” confessed one of them.

“Everyone knew this would happen when people went on strike, they would have to cut costs somewhere,” explained a second person.

Meanwhile, another person claimed that CBS canceled the shows to “save money” because they were “in trouble.”

CSI: Vegas premiered in 2021, and So Help Me Todd premiered the following year, in 2022.
