PRICE is Right model Alexis Gaube is enjoying her time off as the show’s summer hiatus continues.
Alexis, 35, wore zebra shorts and a printed tee for a recent trip to the OC Fair that she documented on Instagram.
The model, who joined The Price is Right in 2021, went to the California Carnival with podcaster Lo VonRumpf, while Alexis documented the trip on social media on Tuesday.
The carousel post included photos and videos of the pair playing carnival games and posing for selfies, including a clip of Alexis sampling snacks dipped in Hot Cheetos.
“One Little Piggie wanted to ride all the Scary Fair rides,” she captioned her post. “The other Little Pig wanted to pet all the animals on the farm.
“The two little pigs ate all the hot pickle/cheeto fair food they could find.”
More about The Price is Right
She accessorized her outfit with a pair of brown sneakers that matched her baseball cap.
Alexis has been criticized for her on-screen behavior, with some people suggesting she came across as fake during a recent episode of The Price is Right before it went off the air.
Reddit users felt their reaction to the price of an everyday item was overblown after Alexis seemed shocked to learn that everyday erasable markers sold for $25.
One person wrote: “She’s just the worst. I’m not trying to be mean, but I really don’t like her. Everyone else is wonderful, she’s so fake with those facial reactions – like goosebumps.”
Another fan agreed: “Yes, I find her very annoying.”
His recent carnival outing comes as fans continue to await new episodes of The Price is Right, after he began his annual summer break in July.
The long-running CBS series, hosted by Drew Carey, is airing reruns of the show, with snippets of previous episodes posted to its official Instagram account.
“Why are there no new episodes,” read a fan comment on one such post. “I can’t wait for new episodes.”
Some people enjoyed the trip down memory lane, with several people reacting to a memorable blooper when the Flip or Flop machine malfunctioned mid-air.
At one point, Drew, 66, even took a shot, leaving fans at home divided.
Reacting to the Instagram video, one user commented: “That’s not Drew kicking! [laughing emoji]”

BEHIND THE SCENES
Drew, who has hosted the show since 2007, recently revealed that some contestants arrived “smelling of alcohol”, adding that such behavior is “not uncommon”.
In an interview with TV Insider, the American comedian said: “Oh, it happens here all the time.
“They’ll eat a gum or I’ll smell alcohol on their breath. It’s not uncommon. There was a guy here who was tripping over mushrooms.”
Drew replaced longtime host Bob Barker, who hosted The Price is Right for 35 years.
He passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 99.
Drew told TV Insider, “I want to be a good steward of the show, so I don’t screw it up and destroy it from the start,” while also honoring his predecessor’s legacy.
