Wrong answers and interviews can take a long time, but fans have noticed that the length of the interviews is the same and the contestants are less wrong.

“Why don’t games ever run out of time anymore?” one user asked.
“A recent game where time ran out with four clues left on the board made me realize it’s been a long time since I can remember that.
“This used to be a regular occurrence in recent years. Is the show getting better players, more capable of clearing the board?” they finished.

One Reddit user said they think Ken reads clues faster than Alex.
“And also maybe the Jeopardy editing team eliminates every millisecond of unnecessary silence to shorten the episodes. It could also be that players these days are missing fewer questions (especially during these tournaments where we had excellent, experienced players),” they continued.
Some users feel that the program changes too much, including awkward silences and moving on to the next clue when no one appears.

Ken was the last speaker at the event and received a standing ovation from the crowd when he left.
The host joked about one thing he will never match Alex with.
Ken said that he may not be as handsome as Alex as the years go by and that he will never wear a mustache like the previous host did.
“I don’t think I’ll be the pretty silver fox we were lucky enough to have with Alex,” he joked.
Executive producer Michael Davies and producer Sarah Whitcomb-Foss asked themselves, “Won’t we see a mustache?”
“I don’t think you’d like it if you did that,” Ken replied as the audience laughed.
“You’ll see ratings drop.”
