Danger! Masters Season 1 champion James Holzhauer is expected to take the throne again.

James competes against Amy Schneider; Matt Amodio; Mattea cockroach; Yogesh Raut; and Victoria Groce.

During the first Masters, James won the $500,000 grand prize, the Trebek Trophy, named after the late broadcaster Alex Trebek, and an additional $100,000 for Project 150.

Project 150 helps Las Vegas area high school students with insecure housing.

The prize money from last year’s Jeopardy! Masters:

During the tournament, James told Ken to “keep control” during an NSFW moment.

James also challenged Ken to a “rematch” in another joke.

On a Jeopardy-themed Reddit forum, viewers shared their picks and many chose James to beat the competition.

However, newcomer Victoria may give James a run for his money.

“Victoria really impressed me with her buzzer skills when she was on Jeopardy’s Invitational Tournament,” one fan revealed.

“James has an overwhelming lead in the poll, but I think Victoria will surprise people.”

A second commented: “Either Victoria or James. James is almost as good and I think faster.

“His speed gives him the advantage to get a big lead.”

Earlier this month, Victoria was the first winner of another spin-off series, Jeopardy’s Invitational Tournament, against Amy Schneider and Andrew He.
