JEOPARDY has revealed the schedule for its upcoming highly competitive Masters season.
This year’s contestants include Season 1 champion James Holzhauer; returning players Matt Amodio, Amy Schneider and Mattea Roach; and newcomers Yogesh Raut and Victoria Groce.
Thanks to his big win, James took home a whopping $500,000, with Mattea winning $250,000 and Matt winning $150,000.
Posted to the US game show’s social media accounts, episodes of Jeopardy! The Masters will begin on Wednesday, May 1st at 8pm on ABC – just one hour later than the originally scheduled broadcast time.
After the premiere, episodes will air on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The semi-finals will begin on Friday, May 17th, with the final airing on May 22nd.
Also listed in the blue schedule was host Ken Jenning’s birthday on May 23.
‘REGULAR PEOPLE EPISODES’
While many fans commented on their excitement for the big competition, others missed out on regular programming.
“Can we do more normal people episodes?” one questioned on the program’s Instagram publish“There have been so many tournaments that lately it seems like I’m getting more new people.”
A second said: “Great, so something that shouldn’t happen is happening again. Seeing basically the same people over and over again is ridiculous.”
“Who cares?” a third was furious.
On Jeopardy publish on X, formerly Twitter, more fans shared their honest thoughts.
One user commented: “You are reaching oversaturation point!”
“I’m tired of this whole tournament,” said another.

Season 2 of Jeopardy! The Masters Tournament begins on Wednesday, May 1, according to the ABC Network.

During the tournament, James told Ken to “keep control” during an NSFW moment.
James also challenged Ken to a “rematch” in another joke.
On a Jeopardy-themed Reddit forum, viewers shared their picks and many chose James to beat the competition.
However, newcomer Victoria may give James a run for his money.
“Victoria really impressed me with her buzzer skills when she was on Jeopardy’s Invitational Tournament,” one fan revealed.
“James has an overwhelming lead in the poll, but I think Victoria will surprise people.”
A second commented: “Either Victoria or James. James is almost as good and I think faster.
“His speed gives him the advantage to get a big lead.”
Earlier this month, Victoria was the first winner of another spin-off series, Jeopardy’s Invitational Tournament, against Amy Schneider and Andrew He.
