WHEEL of Fortune host Pat Sajak refused to be a good sport to a contestant who showed up in his golf outfit — shorts included.

The host obsessed over how Andrew from Minneapolis apparently came straight from the green to try and gain some green.

On Monday night, Andrew, a self-proclaimed golfer, immediately turned heads with his unconventional outfit.

He wore a printed Hawaiian shirt and, as cable subscribers would soon discover, tiny light blue shorts.

When Pat, 77, asked if he was “good,” the contestant joked, “Eh, you might find out someday.”

‘SHOW THEM’

“It’s a challenge?” Pat asked, to which Andrew said sincerely:
“I’d love to play with you sometime.”

Pat then demanded, “Show them you’re a golfer,” in an abrupt turn.

“Lift your leg,” he exclaimed as Andrew placed his bare leg on the podium.

In fact, he wore a pair of blue shorts that went well with his Hawaiian top, so, admittedly, he enjoyed the look.

“I’m wearing shorts, yes!” Andrew said as the crowd cheered.

“Don’t we even have a dress code in this place?” Pat retorted, revealing that the request was a prompt and that he wanted to report Andrew for being poorly dressed.

“I have to get ready,” Andrew said shyly.

Pat concluded, “You’re wearing a collared shirt, so I think you’re fine.”

FAN REACTION: ‘CALL ME…’

Unlike Pat, fans weren’t as opposed to the costume as someone wrote on X, ““Andrew calls me #wheeloffortune.”

Another wrote: “Play golf. No mention of Significant Other. Much of the interview time was spent showing off her leg at Pat’s request.”

A third critic called the look “D**chy” for the beloved game show.

Regardless, it was Krystalanne who won the episode and got the bonus puzzle like “Private Hideaway” right, winning $61,133 in total.

SPRAY TO GO

Last week, a contestant with giant hair that she still has from the 80s was teased relentlessly – so to speak – by Pat.

She wore a stately, still blonde hairstyle that hadn’t changed since the ’80s.

Pat did a mini-roast about this during his interview with each contestant.

“This woman, it may not shock you to hear this,” said the host.

“In the 80s, it was voted Best Hair in High School.”

The crowd applauded and Pat continued, curious as to why she never changed her look.

“So when you like something, you stick with it, is that it?” Pat joked.

“Stick is a good word because of all the hairspray I use,” she deftly joked.

However, the host didn’t finish: “Have you changed your hairstyle over the years?” he asked.

“No,” she replied bluntly. “I’m glad I still have hair at my age!”

Pat responded remorsefully, “No, it’s beautiful!”

“I’m glad you – I feel the same way,” he finished sarcastically.

Fans took to social media and were impressed with the look, even though Pat wasn’t there.

“#WheelofFortune Now that’s a hairstyle,” wrote one X user.

“This lady’s damn hair is stiff as hell. #WheelofFortune,” wrote another.

PAT IS A WRAP!

Meanwhile, Pat not only marked his final day as host, but also recorded his farewell episode, which The US Sun can exclusively reveal.

He will say goodbye to the masses in the season 41 finale on Friday, June 7, 2024.

But a rep for Wheel of Fortune exclusively confirmed to The US Sun that Pat filmed her final six-episode series on April 5, 2024.

This includes its final episode, aptly titled “Thanks For The Memories,” and it’s already filmed, the show is shared exclusively.

This means that Pat is done hosting the show and the episodes fans are seeing come after he is already retired.

The episode will be a TV milestone, as the presenter has been handing out puzzles and prizes alongside Vanna White, 66, since 1981 and 1982, respectively.

The show hasn’t said whether Pat’s farewell episode will be a total tribute to memories from all the years or simply a normal game ending with him saying goodbye.

Tickets for Pat’s penultimate five episodes opened to the public at the last minute, while her farewell episode was not open to the public and was invite-only.

Pat announced in spring 2023 that she would be leaving the iconic game show and that the 41st season would be her last.

Shortly after, Ryan Seacrest announced on Instagram that he would be replacing Pat as the new host in the fall of 2024.

The show airs weekdays at 7:30 pm ET on ABC, so fans can catch his farewell on June 7 at that time.
