The Chase is a television quiz show that first aired in 2013 and was revived in 2021.
The View’s Sara Haines is the host of the ABC show.
Contestants try to win money by challenging a trivia expert known as a hunter.
First, they answer as many questions on their own as they can to fill out the prize.
So, they compete against the pursuer and try to stay ahead of him.
Otherwise, they earn nothing and return home empty-handed.
Those who answer correctly move on to the Final Chase and answer the questions as a team, eventually splitting the prize fund.
Danger! contestants James Holzhauer, Brad Rutter and Ken Jennings served as The Chasers in the revival’s first season.
James, 39, has competed on the Game Show Network version before, which led to him landing a spot on Jeopardy!.
He returned for Season 3, along with his fellow Jeopardy! contestants Buzzy Cohen and Victoria Groce.
The Chase last aired in July 2023, and no news about the fourth season has been announced.
‘ANY WORD?’
The Chase shared a video on Instagram to remind fans to watch Jeopardy! Masters because James and Victoria would be competing in it.
“Hey Chasers! TONIGHT, James Holzhauer and Victoria Groce will be fighting for the title of #JeopardyMasters champions! The Primetime event begins at 8/7c on ABC and Stream on Hulu!” publish was subtitled.
This has led fans to question when the quiz game show will return.

“How about The Chase? Any words?” one fan asked.
“Okay, so you’re telling us about Jeopardy. What about The Chase?” asked another.
“When will The Chase return?” asked many others.
“Please tell us the persecution is returning! I wish it aired as often as Jeopardy,” added one Instagram user.
Some Reddit users noticed that the summer schedule has been released and The Chase is not included.
Others noted that Ken, 49, talked about this to Victoria, 39, on a recent episode of Masters.
She called herself the queen of The Chase, which gave fans some hope that the show will return and she will be back.

Ken attracted attention when he hinted that the quiz show had been cancelled.
The presenter spoke to each Masters at the premiere.
“And our viewers probably remember you from The Chase, where you were known as the Queen,” Ken said.
“They are”, Victoria insisted and threw up her arms with a nervous laugh.
“I’m sorry,” Ken replied.
Victoria told him, “Okay,” with a cheeky tilt of her head.
“Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to be with us at the Masters,” said the host.
Victoria laughed off his comments, but fans thought it meant The Chase was cancelled.
“Ah, ah. I hope Ken didn’t just screw up the Chase cancellation,” one Reddit user wrote.
“The fact that Victoria corrected him gives me a small ray of hope that this can come back. The fact that two leading scorers are in this, and a previous one as host, might make ABC rethink things,” said another.
Some fans think Ken misspoke and Victoria was offended.
