DANGER! fans flooded social media with shock after what many considered an easy Final Jeopardy! clue almost confused the board.

It all had to do with a big fashion from the 1980s.

Returning champion Allison Gross entered the final with a $19,600 lead.

Challenger Isabella Dawis reached the final round with $4,200, while Jennifer Trofa was left behind with $200.

Final danger! dealt with the fads of the 1980s.

“A November 29, 1983 NY Times article about these used ‘near riot,’ ‘adoptable,’ ‘waiting for 8 hours,’ and ‘my life (is) in danger.”

The correct answer, thanks to the “adoptable” clue, was Cabbage Patch Kids, which became the must-have toy of 1983.

Allison got it right – but she was the only correct answer. The other two ladies were decades in either direction.

Jennifer responded, “What is a Tamagotchi?” – which was popular in the 90s.

“No, you had to go back a little further,” warned host Ken Jennings.

Isabella said “What are pet rocks?” – popular in the 70s.

“She went back a little too far in time,” Ken sneered, shocked.

JOKING

Online, fans on social media noticed the incredible timing of responseswhile at the same time lamenting their own age.

“This is like Goldilocks of answers to this Final Jeopardy!” joked one person. “Finally, the last contestant was in the right decade. LOL.”

“This was probably the easiest Final Jeopardy! question ever,” someone else tweeted, to which someone else responded, “And two of them somehow got it wrong! I was screaming!”

“Funny that they each had the correct answer for the 70s, 80s and 90s!” a third noted.

MASTERS OF NO DOMAIN

The social media response hasn’t been much better to this season’s Jeopardy! Masters Tournament.

After just three episodes, online groupies argued that the pageant lacks chemistry in its lineup and isn’t all that captivating.

The biggest complaint seems to be the lack of free spirit, as there is much less humor shared between players.

One Facebook user started a thread: “So I absolutely love Jeopardy! Masters, but does anyone agree that last year’s tournament was much more fun?”

“I think there was a different sense of camaraderie at last year’s competition,” one person responded.

“The tournament lacks the warmth of personality that Sam (Buttrey) brought to the show,” agreed another.

Although one person noted, “Ken was also a lot more relaxed last year.”

The Masters began on May 1st and is scheduled to end with a grand final on May 22nd.

The annual spinoff aims to determine the best player in a given year and comes with a top prize of $500,000.
