WHEEL of Fortune fans are already worried about Pat Sajak being replaced by Ryan Seacrest as the game show’s new host.
Viewers are demanding that the beloved show hire a host with a great sense of humor, like Pat.
After hosting Wheel of Fortune since 1981, Pat is preparing to retire next month.
He has already recorded his last show, which will air on June 7 as the finale of the show’s 41st season.
Ryan, who currently hosts American Idol and also co-hosted the morning show Live with Kelly Ripa, is replacing Pat.
He officially starts the show when the series returns in September for season 42.
Since the announcement, fans have had several concerns about the 49-year-old’s arrival.
More recently, viewers are worried that Ryan won’t make them laugh as much as Pat, 77, does.
FUNNIEST MOMENTS
This week, Wheel of Fortune shared a montage of the longtime host’s funniest quotes.
“Pat has jokes – always has,” the show captioned on Instagram.
Fans loved remembering some of the 77-year-old’s best moments before quickly saying goodbye to him as host.
“I love Pat’s sense of humor,” wrote one Instagram follower. “Pat is so funny and hilarious!”
“He may be the host of Wheel of Fortune, but he’s also a comedian,” the user added.
“Pat and his humor,” commented a second fan. “Wow, I’m going to miss him!!”
A third viewer warned Ryan that “he has big shoes to fill.”
After seeing how much everyone loved the video, Wheel of Fortune shared two more videos filled with Pat’s funny moments.
