ABC picked up the game show Lucky 13 – a true or false challenge from the creative team that developed Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?.

Former Orlando Magic star Shaquille O’Neal and actress Gina Rodriguez will host the show, which is currently casting contestants.

The program tests participants’ knowledge with 13 true or false trivia questions, but with a variation based on confidence in the answers, according to Deadline.

If a player can accurately predict how successfully – and unsuccessfully – they answered 13 questions, they could take home a million-dollar jackpot.

But first they have to get through the app.

In addition to the typical background check, there are free-answer questions on a variety of topics, including “What is your unique and personal motivation for wanting to do the program?” and “Finish this sentence: ‘Even if it’s not true, people always assume I am…'”

The app also asks for potential players’ SAT and ACT scores, along with any jobs they’ve had since high school.

It was enough for one person Instagram declare, “This is crazy!” before also clarifying: “I’m interested haha. The more unbalanced the better.”

Lucky 13 isn’t the only new trivia-based game show.

Pop culture danger! will soon join the syndicated version, Jeopardy! Masters, Danger! Contest of Champions and Celebrity Jeopardy!

ABC criticized by viewers for cutting game shows from fall programming like Celebrity Jeopardy!

However, the new game show will not air on cable TV like its counterparts.

Pop culture danger! It is the first in the franchise to air exclusively on a streaming platform.

Amazon Prime Video will be the home of the show.

The new show will focus on pop culture issues ranging from music, movies, TV, sports and more.

How to play Lucky 13

How does the show work?

Four couples play for up to $1,300,000.

A qualifying true/false question is asked and the couple with the fastest correct answer plays the Lucky 7 round, consisting of seven true/false questions under a timer.

Each correct answer is worth an increasing amount of money, from $1,000 to $20,000.

Contestants are asked to predict how many questions they think they got right before their answers are revealed, and the correct prediction adds a $10,000 bonus.

The team with the most money can choose to keep the money or hand it over to play Lucky 13 for the grand prize.

CHANGES

And there’s another big change in the new game show.

In any other Jeopardy! iteration, three people compete against each other at the same time.

About the danger of pop culture! more people will have the opportunity to play as they will be in teams.

Three teams of three will also face each other to win money.

Pop culture danger! it was announced on May 15.

However, there is no premiere date or presenter yet.

Ken Jennings currently hosts all versions of Jeopardy! after Mayim Bialik was fired in December.
