JEOPARDY fans had a lot to say about a recent episode of the popular game show.
In Friday night’s game, champion Amar Kakirde faced two new competitors: Anna Marie Cunningham and Has Karbalai.

Amar made his Jeopardy debut on Wednesday defeating Chris D’Amico.
At the end of Friday’s game, Anna Marie didn’t get the Final Jeopardy question right and lost all her money – earning her third place with a $1,000 reward.
In second place, Has got the Final Jeopardy question correct with the answer Beowulf, but didn’t win enough to beat Amar and was left with $10,799.
He returned home with $2,000.
In first place once again, Amar got the Final Jeopardy question right and added an extra $1,500 to his $15,300 winnings.
His three-day total is now $41,399.
‘LOVE IS LUCK’
However, some observers have claimed on a Jeopardy-themed Reddit forum that Amar has been lucky during his last three games.
In Wednesday and Thursday’s episodes, Amar was well ahead of his opponents at the end of the game.
“Amar was lucky his opponents messed up a lot,” said one.
Meanwhile, one person thought Amar was “an easy contestant to root for.”
They also commented on how he could be in the next Tournament of Champions if he wins the next game.
On the other hand, a third observer said: “For all the criticism the masters tournament gets, at least they know how to play fast. It was so slow and painful to watch today.”
“Legitimately surprised they went through the entire board today,” replied a fourth.
That Van Halen one hurt,” said a fifth, referring to a question from Jep that was missed.

‘SO TIRED’
Before the second round of Jeopardy Masters began, fans were not thrilled about it.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that Victoria Groce beat her opponents: James Holzhauer, Matt Amodio, Amy Schneider, Mattea Roach and Yogesh Raut.
When the official Masters schedule was first revealed, fans were not amused.

Many of the show’s Instagram followers begged them to bring back the regular games and stop the spin-offs.
“Can we do more normal people episodes? There have been so many tournaments that lately it seems like I’m thinking about when will we have more new people?”
A second agreed: “Great, so something that shouldn’t happen is happening again. Seeing basically the same people over and over again is ridiculous.”
On the show’s X account, formerly Twitter, another angry fan said: “You’re reaching oversaturation point!”
