FAMILY Feud host Steve Harvey hilariously reprimanded a family of contestants after an awkward performance on the show.

The Chauluka family displayed a group sing-along as they got to work, competing against another family for cash prizes, but the game show host wasn’t as impressed as they had hoped.

During a recent episode of Family Feud, the Chauluka family revealed a unique routine that left Steve, 67, somewhat speechless.

A family member came forward to announce that they had something to show him before they began to sing accompanied by a dance.

“We have something special for you, Steve,” she said before turning to her family to begin.

“Family, let’s introduce ourselves,” she shouted before continuing into the full song and dance.

As they performed, Steve stood at the side of the stage with his eyes wide and his head down.

He seemed incredulous about what he was witnessing.

“We need a little polish,” joked the competitor.

The Family Feud host, however, muttered, “What was that?” to the audience who burst into laughter.

Steve noticed a family member who looked just as confused as he did and walked towards him.

The TV personality started telling jokes.

“I wasn’t part of that,” the contestant assured Steve.

“You said, ‘Listen, listen. We don’t have this together. Stop. Stop!’ You told them. They didn’t listen to you,” he said with a laugh.

Steve gave the family a second chance to introduce themselves, cracking a few more jokes before they began.

SOCIAL SUPPORT

A error clip was posted on the Family Feud Africa Instagram account.

Fans in the comments were kind to the family, although many found the moment hilarious.

“She was very kind – ‘Family! Family!’” wrote another.

“He said, ‘What was that??” Still, a third chimed in, adding laughing and crying emojis.

“She planned, trained and presented! Stay strong girl! For more people with courage and to act!!” someone else wrote in the comments.

STEVE’S HOSTING STRUGGLES

This isn’t the first time Steve has struggled to control his tongue during a hilariously bad Family Feud moment.

During a May 18 episode of the show, he criticized a contestant after he laughed at a bald joke on the show.

Steve is famously bald.

During the program, a survey asked participants, “Name something you can compare a bald man’s head to.”

One of the players shouted happily: “Pumpkin head.”

The crowd burst into laughtertogether with the head of the family.

Steve went to the front of the table to confront the man, who also happened to be bald.

“Why the hell are you here laughing?” Steve said sarcastically.

“Because of the way you looked at me,” he replied, still laughing.

“Oh, okay,” Steve replied. “Because you and I are in the same club, partner.”

Steve came back, still thinking about his answer.

“I didn’t really like the term ‘pumpkin head’ either, but you down there are laughing a lot, like you have a head full of [hair].”

Online, fans seemed amused by Steve’s reaction.

“You can tell Steve has been called that before,” one person wrote on Instagram.

“Mr. Steve’s face says it all,” agreed a second.

“I was going to say Steve Harvey,” joked a third.

Before that, he was censored after declaring a player’s answer the “worst answer ever given” on the show.

He asked the contestant, “Name someone you don’t mind undressing in front of.”

The player replied: “My children”, shrugging his shoulders and repeating: “My children”.

Steve laughed and said, “Hey kids. How are you?” He then pretended to unbutton his shirt.

The producers jokingly censored Steve down to his ankles, even though he was still fully clothed.

Then he turned to the contestant and said, “You’re going to put your kids in therapy. I’m telling you.”

To his surprise, the answer was on the board.

“I don’t know how the hell that happened, because I’ll tell you, that’s the worst answer you could give,” he said in response.
