DANGER! left fans offended after the game show wrongly credited a country song to the wrong band.
On Thursday’s episode, the commotion began when Jeopardy! contestant Adriana Harmeyer chose the “Songs in the Key of Life” category.
“In the title of a Rascal Flatts song, ‘Life Is’ this kind of road,” host Ken Jennings, 50, read the prompt.
“What is ‘A Highway?’” Adriana replied.
“Yes, it is,” Ken replied.
She then won $400, which brought her to $10,200.
However, artist Tom Cochrane originally conceived Life Is a Highway for his second album, Mad Mad World, in 1991.
In 2006, Rascal Flatts covered the single for the Cars soundtrack.
Fans jumped onto X, formerly known as Twitter, and criticized the game show for the mistake.
“It’s very offensive for Tom Cochrane to call Life Is a Highway a Rascal Flatts song,” criticized one.
“Why did Jeopardy decide that Life Is a Highway is a Rascal Flatts song when they just produced an inferior cover?” another trolled.
“Rascal Flatts didn’t write Life Is a Highway! You will pay for this disrespect!” a third spoke.
“Rascal Flatts was the wrong answer to a question on Jeopardy!” a fourth person wrote.
“Ahem! Tom Cochrane is the original artist on Life Is a Highway,” said one commenter.
NO BATTERY?
This wasn’t the only time the game show left its viewers upset in front of their TV screens.
In Friday’s edition, the three players were unable to find the correct answer for the Producer Tags category.

“The Sonny Digital tag can be heard in this song by ILoveMakonnen and Drake, named after a day of the week that makes the “club go up,” said Ken.
“What is Thursday?” Amy Yao guessed incorrectly.
“No, I’m sorry,” Ken replied.
“What is Friday?” Josh Moss asked.
“Also incorrect,” said Ken.
“Adriana? Five days left”, he joked.
Time ran out because the contestants couldn’t find the hit Tuesday.
“None of these people have ever been to the club on a Tuesday, respectfully,” scoffed one spectator.
“The way I shouted that answer in a second! Lots of laughs,” added another viewer.
