Presenter Ken Jennings, 50, introduced the “celebrity lifestyle and beauty brands” category to players Adriana Harmeyer, Matthew and Carol.

“Kim Kardashian started this brand to create shapewear that flatters different skin tones,” Ken read to get the $1,600 clue.

Adriana was speechless and unable to answer the question.

The archivist, however, managed to obtain the correct answers for the other stars mentioned in the clues.

Gwyneth Paltrow has received praise with her lifestyle brand, Goop, as has Jessica Alba with her wellness brand, Honest Company.

Hailey Bieber was also mentioned with Rhode Skincare, and Machine Gun Kelly had a clue about her nail polish brand Un/Dun Laqr.

Danger! fans laughed at the players’ lack of knowledge about Kim’s business.

“Kim was a clue on Jeopardy tonight and no one showed up [laughing face emoji]” wrote one on Reddit.

“All other clues in the category were answered correctly.”

“I’m so glad they consciously avoided this obvious plug,” added another.

“I hate that there is advertising in trivia,” posted a third.

“What is Skims? No clue [laughing face emoji],” commented another person.

Kim launched Skims in June 2019 with businessman Jens Grede. The shapewear line was valued at more than $4 billion in 2023.

Adriana had a winning streak on Jeopardy! and impressed fans on Friday’s episode when she saved herself from losing $11,000.

During Final Jeopardy! round against Josh Moss and Amy Yao, the group was faced with a category of “historical people”.

A quick look at Kim’s business empire

SKIMS is just one part of Kim Kardashian’s multi-million dollar business empire. The reality TV star makes money from a multitude of jobs.

Kim also starred in American Horror Story, received support from several companies and more, increasing her net worth to just over $1 billion.

Ken asked them to name the man who was killed in 1521 and had a monument made for him on an island near Cebu City.

Adriana led with $14,400, while Josh was second with $12,200 at the start of the round.

She initially wrote Cook, before crossing it out and writing the correct answer – Ferdinand Magellan.

The last-minute change meant Adriana added $11,000 to her prize fund, bringing her total to $25,400.

Fans praised the “satisfying” move online and said the contestant is “the best.”
