DANGER! Fans noticed a unique trend in contestant Adriana Harmeyer’s gameplay.
The danger! the contestant was praised after taking home her 6th win in a row – the first person to achieve the feat all season.
On Wednesday, Ken Jennings took command as Adriana competed against newcomers Allee and Kyle, and fans were impressed with his tactics.
The game show contestant played the long game, choosing to trust her knowledge rather than go all-in on Daily Doubles.
“Adriana is a sneaky and ice-cold player. She doesn’t hunt DD much and isn’t very aggressive with her bets, but on DJ’s end, she has a wild game!
“Just pure buzzer ability and huge knowledge base. I hope she continues her trajectory, I’d love to see how far she can take it!” one person wrote on Reddit.
“I think she’s playing smart. By Double Jeopardy, it’s been pretty clear that she can beat the other contestants on the knowledge or the buzzer, or both. So she can hedge her bets a little on DDs, so she has a better chance of coming back from a failure”, agreed a second.
On the other hand, viewers at home complained about Allee, who came in second place.
The trivia devotee was very quiet on questions before Final Jeopardy!, and fans said she might have a chance to win if she tried to make some guesses.
“I don’t know if it’s because I’m more in tune with it or because it’s happening more often, but this is the second time in three weeks that the runner-up could have broken the lock with a correct answer in Clue 60 and didn’t realize they had to guess …
“I’m surprised Allee didn’t take the time in this position to prioritize remembering her and Adriana’s scores and say ‘this is how close I am to making FJ matter,’” one person raged.
“Yeah, I was yelling at the TV on the last two tracks. It’s possible that Allee was fully aware of the situation but she didn’t even have a hunch about any of the clues, but still, just call and hope you find something…” a second agreed.
FAN FAVORITE
This isn’t the only element of Adriana’s gameplay to win over fans.
In addition to playing it safe with her Daily Doubles bets, fans have also noticed that she doesn’t look for them on the board.
Masters! champion James Holzhauer became known for his tactic of randomly choosing to look for them.
On the other hand, Adriana plays the board from top to bottom and many viewers prefer her more methodical approach.

CLOSE SHAVE
Although Adriana rarely gets an answer wrong, she almost made a huge mistake on Friday’s Final Jeopardy.
“An island near Cebu City has a statue of LapuLapu and a monument to this man who LapuLapu is said to have killed in 1521,” the contestants were asked.
Adriana’s two rivals got the wrong answer, one for guessing Atilla the Hun and the second for guessing Captain Cook.
When Adriana revealed her painting, she showed that she had originally written Captain Cook, but crossed it out at the last minute.
Instead, she changed her answer to Magellen and added $11,000 to her total to win by a landslide.
“That was a good move on her part to keep her winning streak going,” noted one fan on YouTube.
