Legendary Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak has reached his final week on the beloved game show.
During his more than 40 years on the game show, the presenter had some great moments – here we will remember them.

From his sarcastic jokes to getting twerked, there’s nothing Pat won’t do or tolerate.
His last show aired on June 7, after he announced his retirement last season.
Ryan Seacrest will take his place as host and will likely have some funny moments on the show, as will Pat.
Co-host Vanna White and social correspondent Maggie Sajak will also return.
Here are the best moments Pat has had recently on Wheel of Fortune.
A LOT OF TOOTH

Pat’s most recent memorable moment came in May.
College Week headliner Razel inspected Pat’s teeth live.
Since graduating, Razel revealed that he entered dental school.
Pat interrupted her mid-sentence and went to her seat behind the wheel.
The host stuck his fingers in his mouth and held it open so Razel could check his teeth.
“Oh…” she said as Pat approached, just inches from her face as he pointed to her bottom molar.
“Could you take a look at this real quick?” Pat asked.
Razel laughed nervously before Pat returned to his post.

Chuck Woolery was the host from 1975 to 1981
He co-hosted alongside Susan Stafford (1975 to 1982)
Vanna White took over as host in 1982 and has been since then.
After a contract and salary dispute, the show got rid of Chuck and brought back Pat in 1982.
Pat hosted Susan for a season
He then left the game show in 1989 to host a late-night talk show for CBS.
For five months, NFL player Rolf Benirschke took his place
In July 1989, Bob Goen hosted the show on CBS
He hosted for a year and a half until the show was canceled in 1991
The show was then moved to ABC, with Pat and Vanna hosting for the foreseeable future.
In 2023, Pat announced his retirement and Ryan Seacrest was quickly named his replacement

In April, Pat felt generous and gave one of the contestants a piece of clothing.
At the start of the show, he chatted with contestant Willie, who “said some nice things about your clothes.”
“Yes, I’m a fashion guy too and I watch what you wear, and your stylist is doing a great job,” Willie told Pat.
Pat said he liked it as he adjusted his gold tie.
“Willie likes me!” the host added.
Willie didn’t have the highest score of the night and therefore didn’t win any money, but he didn’t go home empty-handed.
When Pat approached the contestant to dismiss him, he handed him a bonus prize.
“Wait. I won’t ignore your handshake,” he said as he took off his tie and handed it to Willie.
“A man who appreciates – I’ll give you a bonus prize, all yours, Willie!”
“Awws” could be heard in the audience.
Fans on social media said the moment was truly emotional.

A month earlier, Pat had fun while dancing behind a contestant.
Courtney, from Long Island, New York, had just won every slice that was on the wheel.
She even won the million dollar slice, which Pat pointed out matched her outfit.
“You’re dressed for it, that’s for sure! Look at that pile of stuff she has,” he said.
Pat exclaimed that she “didn’t know where to start” as Courtney gathered her slices.
He then joined the competitor behind the wheel and grabbed two of her wedges.
Pat then positioned himself behind her and danced.
Courtney held up the third slice with a nervous smile.
“She has everything! $15,200. We’ll be back!” Pat said as the show cut to a commercial.

January had Pat scream in a contestant’s face as a joke.
Angela was very excited to win the game, which made the presenter imitate her.
Pat invited her to the bonus round and she won $200.
This is where things changed.
Wearing a vibrant yellow blouse and vibrant glasses that matched her temperament, Angela was ecstatic as Pat stood beside her, holding her hand.
“By my reckoning, for $200 -” the host began.
However, Angela interrupted him by shouting excitedly, “Shut up!”
Pat, surprised, darkly turned to look off-screen for a moment.
“You didn’t mean it in person?” he asked, to which Angela assured him no.
After Pat dismissed the other two contestants, he turned to the winner.
A little louder than Angela, he shouted, “Shut up!”
Angela seemed completely shocked by the host’s actions.
“That’s been a phrase used a lot lately,” he concluded.

Also in January, Pat admitted he made a mistake when he stumbled over the words on the cue card.
He started the new year by interviewing Jason, a psychiatric nurse.
Pat’s confusion began when he asked Jason if he was married.
“No, I’m actually single,” Jason replied perplexed.
“You know, I’m sorry,” Pat replied before laughing.
The host apparently placed his cards in the wrong order while shuffling them.
“I just ruined a card, wait,” Pat said, leaving Jason at the ready.
Pat made another joke as he tried to fix his cards and said, “So you’re a circus acrobat, got it?”
Finally, the host got the correct information about Jason and continued the game.
“It’s good to have you, Jason, forgive me, but it was New Year’s weekend. You have to understand”, concluded Pat.
PAT HIT THE CARPET

In March 2023, Pat attempted to knock a contestant to the ground.
The contestant, Fred, got all the puzzles right, as well as the bonus round.
The drama teacher explained his wrestling skills at the beginning of the game.
Fred had the highest score at the end in a fight, and when dismissing the other contestants, Pat hilariously looked like he was actually looking for a confrontation.
“You brute!” said the host.
“You want me to slap him for you? I can do that.”
Fred then selected “Phrase” from the three categories for the extra special round.
The four-word puzzle was nothing Fred couldn’t solve, as on his third guess he got it right as “your mind is wandering”.
“Here it is!” Pat announced, giving Fred another $40,000.
When Fred started to celebrate, Pat ran over and put his arm behind his back, trying to suplex him.
Pat strangled the contestant and the audience gasped.
However, he was unable to throw Fred to the ground.
When the show came back from commercial, Pat joked to Vanna White that he used to wrestle professionally.

Pat was left speechless in January 2023 when a contestant cheered for him after winning.
Jamie from California proved from an early age that he liked to have fun.
When she got to the Bonus Round, things got wild.
Jamie chose the “Place” category and ended up with half the letters on the board.
She guessed “quiet neighborhood” right before the doorbell rang and was correct.
Celebrating his victory, Jamie had a huge smile as he played with Pat.
The host did not expect this and was speechless.
After a while, he asked, “Did she just spank me?”
“I did!” Jamie said, to which Pat moved a few meters away from her.
“…She won a Mazda!” Pat added as the unforgettable player headed to her new car.
