DANGER! fans criticized the show for airing an old episode in several states on Friday night.

Danger! Fans in Detroit and Canada claimed they saw an old episode with Marko Saric from April 19th.

“Wrong episode that aired tonight? In the Detroit market, April 19, 2024 airs. Is this happening somewhere else?” one of them raged on Reddit.

“WDIV makes these kinds of mistakes all the time! And one of the contestants is from Rochester, I would be so upset if it was him or his loved ones,” another added.

“I wondered if I was going mad. Thanks for posting this. Channel 4 sucks,” a third posted.

“I totally agree! I was racking my brain because I swore I saw Adriana win last night!” someone commented.

“So weird,” another viewer noted, adding, “It’s a shame this happened.”

Fan favorite Adriana won her eighth episode on Friday for $183,100, defeating Amogha Tadimety and Kevin Stuhlmann by a near-game show record.

The archivist is on his longest and most profitable streak in more than a year.

During the episode, she revealed that she wears her late grandmother’s necklace in every match.

Presenter Ken Jennings, 49, said he noticed the jewel kept appearing.

Jeopardy!’s Adriana Harmeyer praised for ‘sneaky’ tactic to win as fans reveal the moment that made them ‘scream at the TV’

“It’s a cameo necklace that my grandmother gave me. She loved and collected cameos in all forms and was also a huge game show fan!” Adriano said.

She added that she watched Jeopardy! often with her loved one and said “It’s very possible” that she wouldn’t have appeared on the gameshow without her.

Last week, fans praised Adriana’s “sneaky” tactics to win her games.

Viewers have noticed that the contestant relies on her knowledge and buzzer speed and tends not to be “aggressive” with the Daily Doubles.

Danger! Host timeline

Danger! has had a tumultuous history regarding hosts following the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are every host since the game show’s inception in 1964.

Art Fleming – from 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.

Alex Trebek – From 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted the modern iteration of Jeopardy! for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.

Guest Hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! tested a series of guest hosts for one- or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton and Aaron Rodgers.

Mike Richards – 2021, he was named host for a week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.

Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.

Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the winningest contestant of all time) joined Mayim as guest host and they shared hosting duties.

Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! after a long hiatus, having defended the writers’ strike, and Ken was named sole host.

Ken now runs all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the late night show and other primetime specials such as Masters.

“She’s not hunting DD much and isn’t very aggressive with her bets, but on DJ’s end, she has a runaway game!” one fan wrote online.

Others praised her for methodically playing the board from top to bottom rather than randomly choosing Masters! champion James Holzhauer.

Although the contestant rarely makes a misstep, she almost lost $11,000 with one wrong answer during Final Jeopardy earlier this month.

Players were asked: “An island near Cebu City has a statue of LapuLapu and a monument to this man who LapuLapu is said to have killed in 1521.”

Adriana initially wrote to Captain Cook, before crossing out and writing down Magellen.

Viewers praised the “satisfying” last-minute play that led to West Lafayette, Indiana, winning the round.
