DANGER! star Victoria Groce revealed her most frustrating wrong answer and divulged why she’s taking an extended break from trivia.
The danger! The Masters champion opened up about her best and worst answers and her pre-competition preparation during an appearance on All Things Quiz.
Earlier this month, just weeks after Victoria, 43, won the Masters special, the quiz show savant won the World Quizzing Championship.
On thursday, Quiz about all things presenter Gareth Kingston asked Victoria if there was any specific answer or mistake that stuck in her memory for the “wrong reasons”.
Victoria confessed: “Yes, I confused Averroes and Avicenna for the 15,000th time.
“Every time one of the two appears, I go the wrong way,” she complained.
“Every time,” Victoria added frustrated.
Gareth replied: “It’s good to know you’re human [and] that you have things you miss.”
The host then asked if Victoria was tempted to retire from competitive testing and “come out on top” or if winning makes her more determined to come back and defend her title.
“I’m taking a long planned sabbatical,” she replied.
Victoria continued: “I’m not writing, I’m not playing, I’m not doing anything for at least a month – and then for as long as feels good.
“And I’m not sure at this point, it’s too early to say how long I’ll have to hold on from here on out,” she added.
“I could very well arrive in Spain and feel really motivated and prepared… but it’s also possible that I’ll say, ‘I just want to do less,'” he told Jeopardy! champion admitted.
She confessed that maybe she just wants to “show up places,” see her friends and “play with them.”
“I just don’t know where I want to go next, but I’m pretty confident I’m not going to retire now,” Victoria said.

Last month, Victoria made history by winning the World Quizzing Championship.
The annual competition showcases talented quizzers from around the world tackling tough questions, and Victoria is the first American to take the crown.
On Reddit, a fan celebrated: “The Your Jeopardy champion! Masters is now… the world Quizzing Champion!
“With just one point less from last year, Victoria Groce finally broke through, and her fourth Top 10 finish earned her the first gold for an American at the WQC!
I confused Averroes and Avicenna for the 15,000th time. Every time one of the two appears, I go the wrong way.”

Other versions of Jeopardy! have also failed over the years, such as Sports Jeopardy!.
However, Victoria admitted she didn’t know if The Chase would continue after its final airing in July 2023.
“I assume you may be under an NDA (non-disclosure agreement), but is there any information you can reveal about future episodes of The Chase, or is the show likely already over at this point?” a fan asked during a Q&A with Victoria on Reddit.
“We’re kind of in limbo! We haven’t been canceled or renewed,” Victoria responded,
“I hope the fact that we were asked to talk about this on Jeopardy! is a good sign.”
Before Victoria’s hopeful words, Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings, 50, seemed to suggest The Chase was over for good.
“And our viewers probably remember you from The Chase, where you were known as the Queen,” he told Victoria on her show, before Victoria corrected him by emphasizing: “Yeah.”
“Ken said, ‘You were known as The Queen on The Chase,’ and Victoria said, ‘I’m still known as that,’ which kind of implied that they had different thoughts on the state of that show,” one fan noted shortly after one danger! forum.
