STEVE Harvey joked about his own wealth as he greeted a straight contestant on a recent episode of Family Feud.
Ahead of Father’s Day, longtime host Steve, 67, gave Family Feud contestants a suggestion centered around him as a father.
“Name one reason why it would be great to have Steve Harvey as your dad,” read the host as two players battled for first place.
Contestant Bayleigh chimed in immediately, enthusiastically responding, “He’s rich.”
“Yes!” Steve responded instantly.
He then continued to tap the podium and nod with his eyes closed, high-fiving the player.
Continuing, he touched Beyleigh three more times enthusiastically.
“You better press the bell!” he screamed.
The answer ended up coming first in “Rich/Subsidy”.
IT CAN’T BE ALL RIGHT
While the host may have loved one contestant’s response about him during a recent episode, another player’s response left Steve less than enthusiastic about the show.
Last week, Steve read another message based on his best features, which left the host unimpressed.
“If Steve Harvey ran for president, what would he have that most candidates don’t?” the question read.
“Sense of humor” was the answer that put the Rodas family on the board as they tried to guess the other seven most popular answers.
A family member responded confidently, “Uh, you look good, Steve!”
“He is wonderful!” Steve yelled at the board as it fired a blow, causing Steve to stare straight ahead in disbelief.
“No one, just two people? Not even two people said? I expected everything in me to be up there,” he said in shock.

As the opposing family got the chance to steal, the response to Steve’s “bald head” drew an even bigger reaction from the host.

TOO MUCH FOR TV?
Steve took the reins of Family Feud in 2010 and holds the longest tenure of any host on the show.
His insightful reactions and humorous responses to contestants’ responses have contributed to the show’s success over the years.
Some people, however, have recently criticized the game show for being too “cheeky.”
One player last week even mentioned that a man had a “small package” when answering a question about the inability to become an exotic dancer.
Weeks earlier, a moment shocked viewers when a pastor gave the NSFW response of “sexual things” when asked to “name something you’ve stuck your finger in more times than you can count.”
When the clip was shared online, one person commented: “Why does the rivalry have to be so disgusting these days?”
“I thought it was a family show,” said another.
Similarly, a moment about “making love” on the show prompted one viewer to write, “So much for a show being called a ‘family’ feud.”
“The family fight is getting a little raunchy,” noted another.
