A RECENT DANGER! player revealed that another contestant received special treatment backstage.
The game show contestant was caught off guard by this.
After the June 17 episode, Jeopardy! fans posted their thoughts on Reddit.
Ty Patton chimed in and said he was there to answer any questions they had.
He shared a behind-the-scenes secret after a fan asked if Adriana Harmeyer received special treatment.
“I think they normally shoot five a day. So this was the first recorded episode, which caught me off guard,” Ty said.
“After rehearsal, I was getting ready to set up in the Green Room and surround the snack table, only to be told I would be taking the stage immediately.”
“Since it was the first episode recorded that day, I hadn’t seen anything of Adriana’s run,” Ty said.
“In the Green Room, as the wardrobe staff were going through everyone’s outfits, I noticed how long they were taking with hers, as the wardrobe staff were saying ‘ok, you wore this, you paired this with that, etc. .’ and from my quick math I realized she had worn about 10 different outfits.”
“Other than that, I didn’t know anything. At some point it was mentioned how successful she was at FJ, which definitely influenced what I did,” she concluded.
SLAY-DRIANA
Ty wasn’t pleased with himself when Adriana scored her 14th win on Monday.
He won the first Daily Double immediately, while Adriana came out on top after crushing the Bon Jovi category.
She finished the round with $7,000, Ty with $2,800 and Kelsey with -$600.
On Double Jeopardy!, Adriana won $3,000 in the second Daily Double for “Marathon Man”, and Ty found the last Daily Double.
In a game-changing move, the new dad nearly doubled his second-place score to $10,100, responding with “NFL Players Association.”
Host Ken Jennings highlighted that this was a closer game, with Adriana leading with $16,200, Ty with $13,400 and Kelsey with $2,200.

In the Final Jeopardy round, Adriana ended up winning by just $200 after she and TY answered correctly.
‘GIVE UP ANY CHANCE OF WINNING’
Fans on Reddit praised Adriana’s victory, but also highlighted Ty’s final gamble.
He bet $13,399 but left $1 before answering correctly, bringing his total to $26,799.
“The player in second place made a big bet and gave up any chance of winning if he got FJ wrong,” said a fan.
Ty chimed in and acknowledged his mistake.
“Oh… and my bet on FJ… I know. I knew it as I was doing it. I have about 1,000 words typed up about what I was thinking, if anyone’s interested. I wrote it the day I recorded it because I knew the future I wouldn’t be satisfied,” he said.
Other fans said it will take a “very good challenger” to beat Adriana.
