DANGER! fans are missing Adriana Harmeyer after Drew Basile and his questionable behavior took her out of the game.
Friday’s newest episode of Jeopardy! some viewers said the Survivor 45 alum was showing off after seeing more modest behavior from players recently.
The game saw champion Drew face Josh Heit, a government relations professional from Silver Spring, Maryland, and Richelle Brown, a substitute teacher from Alexandria, Virginia.
Final danger! it ended in a tiebreaker between Drew and Josh, which followed with Drew defeating his opponent and securing a three-day victory.
Drew was clearly excited about the win and celebrated excessively, which some people considered “showing off.”
Viewers commented on the episode online, noting the contrast in behavior between Drew and former champion Adriana.
Drew defeated Adriana on Wednesday, ending her 15-day streak in the shocking match.
On Friday’s episode, one fan wrote: “Good tense game. After seeing the extremely modest Adriana, Allison and others on my screen for so long, I’m still trying to get used to Drew’s exhibitionism and pranks.”
Drew had a similar reaction to beating Adriana two days earlier, taking a victory lap around the set that dismayed some fans.
Adriana faced Drew and Tekla Sauter for her 16th consecutive victory, having already collected $349,600.
Host Ken Jennings noted that if she were to pull off a win, she would be tied for the 10th longest streak on Jeopardy! history.
Drew’s lead was unassailable when the three went into Final Jeopardy, with him at $23,600, Tekla at $10,600 and Adriana at $9,300.
After securing the victory, he and Adriana had an awkward encounter where he went to shake her hand, but she raised hers to congratulate him and then put it back down.
The two then made eye contact and began shaking hands.
BAD JOKE?
Some fans also criticized the contestant for using his platform to make a joke during Final Jeopardy! on Wednesday’s episode, where he had plenty of wiggle room.
“In 1978, a new men’s cologne was launched called this, which is being reproduced in the company’s iconic logo,” the clue said.

Drew jokingly wrote, “What is Jeopardy?” as he flashed a huge smile.
“We should have a colony called Jeopardy!” Ken replied, clearly surprised by the answer.
Some viewers criticized Drew for using his escape to write a joke response, especially considering the context that he had just defeated a 15-day champion.
“I wasn’t a fan of Drew in this game. This was one of the few games where I actually rooted for Adriana,” wrote one person on Reddit.
“I thought I was rejoicing in a way. I think you should still play the game to the fullest instead of giving a silly answer because you know you got away,” a second added.
