The win marked Drew’s four-day streak on the game show.

Drew entered the game with $53,282 and added another $26,400 to his pot.

Meanwhile, Graham came in second place with $11,000, while competitor Erin was easily defeated with -$7,200.

After being defeated, Graham shared his thoughts on Jeopardy! Reddit.

“Thanks for the kind words, guys. This was an incredible experience for me, and if I had to get my ass kicked, I’m glad it was by a giant slayer with ToC written all over him.

“He’s frighteningly quick at the buzzer and clearly well prepared, and I’m looking forward to seeing how far he can go!” he shared Drew’s secret abilities.

In response to Graham’s words, many other fans who watched the television show at home admitted that they also noticed Drew’s super-fast buzz.

“I was rooting for you! But you’re right – Drew is ray quick on the bell. Great game!” exclaimed one person.

“You played well, Graham. Drew caught DJ on fire and 33 correct answers is hard to beat,” agreed a second.

IN DANGER

In addition to revealing Drew’s quick tactics, Graham also had a word with Erin after her big loss.

Danger! contestant Erin Buker ends game with one of the ‘lowest scores ever’ as fans are ‘saddened’ by performance

“Huge respect for Erin, it’s a difficult situation to be in and a lot of people would have let this get them down. oscillating like a tough competitor should do”, he praised.

Graham’s congratulations came after Erin’s very low negative signal saw her secure a record as the second lowest score on Jeopardy! history.

Due to her score of -$7,200, Erin was even barred from playing Final Jeopardy!, with her bankroll too low to qualify.

Danger! Host timeline

Danger! has had a tumultuous history regarding hosts following the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are every host since the game show’s inception in 1964.

Art Fleming – from 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.

Alex Trebek – From 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted the modern iteration of Jeopardy! for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.

Guest Hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! tested a series of guest hosts for one- or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton and Aaron Rodgers.

Mike Richards – 2021, he was named host for a week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.

Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.

Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the winningest contestant of all time) joined Mayim as guest host and they shared hosting duties.

Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! After a long hiatus, having defended the writers’ strike, Ken was named sole host.

Ken now runs all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the late night show and other primetime specials such as Masters.

Just like Graham, however, fans on social media were still impressed with his gameplay and expressed support for his determination.

“I definitely feel bad for Erin, she had a rough day today for sure. And she’s definitely going to get some unwarranted and unnecessary hate and mockery for getting the second lowest score in Jeopardy history, behind only Patrick Pearce – $7,400,” one person said.

WINNING DEAL?

Before Drew’s wins, Adriana Harmeyer seemed unstoppable with a 15-day streak.

Drew beat Adriana last Wednesday, but many fans said they miss Adriana’s humble on-screen attitude.

While Adriana kept her cards close to her chest, Drew often celebrates her high points with cheers and victory dances.

“Good tense game. After seeing the extremely modest Adriana, Allison and others on my screen for so long, I’m still trying to get used to Drew’s showmanship and banter,” one person wrote after Drew’s third win.

Fans also had issues with the game in which Drew beat Adriana, after using Final Jeopardy! to make a joke, since he was sure of his victory.

“I thought I was rejoicing in a way. I think you should still play the game to the fullest instead of giving a stupid answer because you know you got away,” criticized one viewer.
