KEN Jennings made a brutal joke to super champion Adriana Harmeyer about losing her 15-day winning streak to Survivor alumnus Drew Basile.

The postgame clip didn’t air during last week’s loss, but it was included in all its dark glory on Monday’s Inside Jeopardy! podcast.

Danger! fans are more than aware of the shocking episode on June 19, when 15-day champion Adriana lost to 22-year-old Drew.

Drew, the only person who has ever been on Jeopardy! and Survivor, defeated Adriana in an escape after she spent the entire month of June as champion.

She seemed distraught after losing, but she had a lot to be proud of, winning nearly $350,000 and the 11th longest winning streak in the show’s history.

That said, fans didn’t know what Ken, 50, said to her as the credits rolled.

‘I THINK THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN’

Ken spoke to Adriana right after she lost in the unreleased clip.

“How does it feel to be a 15-game Jeopardy! champion, do you know how the story ends?” he asked.

“Of course, I would love to continue, but 15 is a good number and I’m happy with that,” she told the host.

“You’d like more,” Ken said back. “But I think the tribe has spoken.”

The audience gasped and players could be heard laughing nervously.

Ken was referring to Jeff Probst’s catchphrase on Survivor, of course, when someone is eliminated.

“Unfortunately,” she replied with a deep sigh.

“See you at the Tournament of Champions, Adriana,” Ken added more positively. “Drew, what a fantastic win!”

THE TRIBE HE HAS SPOKEN

Drew dominated her first match against champion Adriana, 34, and Tekla Sauter.

Adriana, an archivist from West Lafayette, Indiana, was the favorite to win her 16th straight game.

So it came as a shock when Drew, the first Survivor contestant to compete on the game show, turned off her torch.

In Double Jeopardy!, the fateful moment came when Drew found the second Daily Double and fearlessly bet $10,000.

He defeated the fleeing Adriana, in the most shocking of all shocks, and they awkwardly exchanged a meticulous handshake.

“As Alex Trebek used to say, we have a Giant Killer on our hands, rarely as giant as this one!” Ken, 50, said to Basile, referring to the win and his 6-foot height.

After witnessing the big surprise for a Survivor alum, fans were shocked and expressed their reactions on social media.

“I’m actually a little sad that we’re losing Adriana Harmeyer from @Jeopardy after so many days,” one fan tweeted.

“Adriana Harmeyer is ALWAYS a winner for me,” wrote another person.

A third person said, “Weird sadness/geek rage about #Jeopardy today.”

“Well, I expected Drew to do well, but I didn’t think he would run away. I hope to see him get at least 4 wins and reach TOC too”, commented another.

“I like Drew! He seems like an idiot. I wonder if they asked him to stop pointing out the clues after the first break,” wrote another.

SURVIVING IN DANGER!

Drew competed on Survivor Season 45 last year and has since proven his initial Jeopardy! the victory was no fluke, as he has continued to win ever since.

On Tuesday, June 25, Drew won five games and totaled $91,283.

This means he will officially be in the next Tournament of Champions, with Adriana, setting up a possible rematch.

He is one of the rare “giant killers” – or players who defeat a long-time champion so as not to immediately lose the next game.

The Birmingham, Michigan graduate student’s subsequent victories made TV news, with his third victory coming in an ultra-rare shootout

His fourth win earned him 33 correct answers, a season high for any contestant.

Some fans criticized Drew for “showing off” during his victories, raising his fists and clapping.

“I’m not a big fan of punching in sports, but especially in game shows. I’m sure he’s a really nice kid and very smart, but his social immaturity shows,” wrote one Facebook user.

“I love the exuberance of youth and I’m impressed when someone so young has so much knowledge. Maturity comes with age”, argued another.

“Poor sportsmanship,” wrote a third, to which a fourth responded, “just too excited. Not bad sportsmanship.”

However, Drew has the last laugh as he will now be in the next Tournament of Champions and is the first man to get an official ticket.

The other qualifiers for the next Tournament of Champions are Adriana (which means a rematch is on the cards), five-day winners Alison Betts and Dr. Amy Hummel, and Lisa Ann Walter from Celebrity Jeopardy!

With four wins, Grant DeYoung and Amar Kakirde are also likely to participate.

Drew talked about going from Survivor to Jeopardy! with People Magazine last week.

“It’s a funny joke. Because I have to tell you, I’m really tall. I’m 6 feet tall, so I really stand out,” Drew said. “So he is giant in physical stature, but I hope to continue with great games to qualify for the Tournament of Champions.

“And they call me a giant on the stature of Jeopardy!, a giant of trivia killing Adriana [Harmeyer]obviously an extremely competent player with 15 wins — that’s a good start.

“I see great things in my Jeopardy! future. I hope I become a giant, I hope I don’t get killed.”

Drew also admitted that he plans to “stock up” on his winnings from the show and take his “girlfriend on vacation, but nothing too fancy.”

Drew and his girlfriend Mary Grace met while he was pursuing his bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania.

He is now studying for a master’s degree in English Literature at the University of Oxford, in England – they have been together for three years.

‘HATERS CALLED ME A KNOW IT ALL’

Drew was announced as Jeopardy! competitor last month, and the decision immediately drew attention.

After his season of Survivor aired, he immediately gained enemies, who dubbed him a “know-it-all.”

Drew, the youngest of his season, was kicked out of the top six but held on.

Drew would use history, philosophy, and other random topics to turn his experiences on the island and his mentality in the game into long soliloquies at Tribal Council.

“Haters called me a know-it-all,” Drew wrote on Instagram, announcing his Jeopardy! appearance. “It’s time to prove them right.”

Drew isn’t the only Jeopardy! champion with Survivor connection.

Juveria Zaheer is the older sister of Omar Zaheer, who competed on Survivor 42 in 2022.

Juveria won the Second Chance and Champions Wildcard tournament, earning $100,000.

He will be looking for his sixth victory in Wednesday’s episode as he continues to outsmart, win and outlast.
