JEOPARDY fans discovered the main reason why Drew didn’t perform well during his recent game.
On Friday’s episode of the popular game show, the Survivor alum was aiming for his eighth win.
However, his Jeopardy opponents Andrew Fox and Cat Pisacano gave him a run for his money.
With just $200, Drew bet $1,000 on the first Daily Double, but lost.
At the end of the first round, Drew was -$1,400.
Meanwhile, Andrew had $200 and Cat was leading with $3,400.
MISSED OPPORTUNITY
During the Double Jeopardy segment, Drew was the contestant who got both Daily Doubles, only to lose $5,000 when he got both answers wrong.
At the end of the round, Drew was in the lead with $9,600.
Cat wasn’t far behind in second place with $5,800 and Andrew came in last place with $600.
Andrew ended up with $1,200 after getting the Final Jeopardy question right.
Cat also got it right and added an extra $5,700 to her score, bringing it to $11,500.
Drew got the final Jeopardy question wrong and bet $8,399, which dropped him to $1,201.
Cat won her first game on Jeopardy and will continue on Monday’s episode.
WHAT THE FANS THINK
After watching the latest episode, fans shared their theories about why Drew lost his streak on a Jeopardy-themed Reddit forum.
One said: “I suspect Drew was just tired.”
“Seemed like the long day of filming got to him,” said a second, mentioning that he probably knew the answers to the questions he missed during the game.
