DANGER! fans created their ideal lineup for a Second Chance tournament that included a player they feel the show mishandled.

Viewers of the long-running game show discussed the potential lineup on an online board dedicated to Jeopardy!

On Sunday, a fan shared a post titled “My ideal second chance lineup and why I think they should be included.”

“So far,” they added before listing the Season 40 players they thought would be great contenders for a Second Chance tournament.

“I’m not going to define a number, I’m just going to list some good candidates”, they explained.

“I’m sure we’ll see more in [the] next few weeks.”

The list included Brian Hardzinski, Eric Reimund, Ferdinand Percentie, Bryan Carrasco, Isabella Dawis, Josh Moss, Carol Ritchie, Josh Fry, Enzo Cunanan, Kaitlin Tarr, Ty Patton, Colleen Matthews, Tekla Sauter, Josh Heit, Alan Elverum, Maryl Harris and Jayaker Kolli.

They argued that Brian, who competed on the April 11 episode, “gave Alison Betts a chance to win money on her first game” and could have won if she “bet higher on her Daily Double.”

Eric, who competed on April 16, was listed because he “led Alison to get on Final Jeopardy.”

April 29 contestant Ferdinand was added to the lineup because he “led Amy Hummel into final danger” but lost due to the final clue.

They reasoned, “He successfully converted all [three] Daily Doubles and had 22 correct answers. [He] clearly could have gone a little faster if Final Jeopardy [not] broke his way.

Bryan was added because he “lost a $10,200 daily double that ended up not letting him win the game” and Isabella was included because she “showed how she wasn’t afraid to bet big on a daily double on the Jeopardy round.”

Danger! star Drew Basile suffers shocking defeat and fans discover the ‘reason’ why his 7-fight winning streak came to an abrupt end

Josh Moss “gave Adriana a run for her money and he made a good return along with strong bets” and Josh Fry “kept it close throughout the game and got more correct answers than Adriana.”

Carol was included because she was “head to head” with Adriana before her Daily Double bet went wrong.

Enzo “performed excellently”, Kaitlin “showed great potential”, Ty was not afraid to make bold bets, Colleen “kept the game close throughout the game against Adriana”, and Tekla would have won the game if she “bet a little biggest in the Daily Double.”

The writer believed Josh should be included because “historically, all tiebreaker losers have been given a second chance” and Josh tied with Drew on Final Jeopardy on the June 21 episode.

Danger! Universe

Danger! it first aired in 1964 until 1975. Then, the nighttime version began in 1974. Since then, many spinoffs of the game show have emerged. Here they are all:

Danger! – (syndicated) 1974 to present, weekdays on ABC at 7pm ET.

Tournament of Champions – 1984 to present, features the top champions who have appeared on the show since the last tournament.

Second Chance Tournament – 2022 to Present features hand-selected non-winners from the previous season, where the prize is entry into the Champions Wildcard.

Champions Wildcard – 2023 to present, features all one-, two-, and three-day champions from the previous season that are eligible for entry into the Tournament of Champions.

Danger! Invitational Tournament (distribution) – from 2023 to the present, features big names from the past invited by producers to compete for a place in the Masters.

Danger! Masters (primetime) – from 2023 to present, features the six Jeopardy! champions competing against each other.

Celebrity Danger! (Primetime) – From 1992 to the present, celebrities compete against each other to raise money for charity.

Pop Culture Jeopardy (streaming) – from 2024 to present, will feature teams of three in charge of pop culture trivia on Amazon Prime, host and air date to be determined

Danger! eliminated specialized tournaments, such as University Tournaments, Children’s Week and Teacher’s Tournament, to move towards a more sporting model, with the Masters being the top of the Jeopardy pyramid.

Other versions of Jeopardy! have also failed over the years, such as Sports Jeopardy!.

They also felt that Alan “played strong and deserves a second chance” and that Maryl was a “solid player” who kept the game relatively close.

Jayaker, from the June 27 episode, was “close to Drew in the first round” before losing a Daily Double.

“Considering he was the only person who knew Final Jeopardy, he deserves a second chance because he had that Daily Double [gone] his way, he would have won”, they added.

In the forum post’s comment thread, one fan wrote, “When the official list is revealed before the end of the year, expect shocking deletions.”

“I want Tekla to get her redemption from Jessica Stephens/Kill Bill!” added another.

“One thing that hurt Jayaker was Luke timing the buzzer and running out at the end of the Double Jeopardy round!” mentioned a third.

A fourth person commented, “Jayaker deserves a second chance because of what ABC did to him.”

JUST FACE IT

Earlier this week, Jeopardy! fans felt bad for Jayaker Kolli because his face was blocked by an ad throughout the competition.

The ad with Jayaker’s face displaying how many minutes remained until the 2024 Presidential Debate aired on television.

Fans tweeted photos of the contestant, who is a medical student in Austin, Texas, with the ad covering his face

“Who thought this was a good idea?” asked user X, formerly of Twitter.

“I feel terrible for him and his friends and family watching,” echoed another. “How frustrating!”

“ABC Network, you could put the annoying countdown clock at the bottom of the screen so it doesn’t cover people’s faces on Jeopardy,” said another X user. “Or at least make it smaller. We all know when the debate starts. “

Jayaker was playing against two other competitors, Luke Hemphill and defending champion Drew Basile.

In the first intermission, Jayaker answered six questions correctly, but lost momentum during Double Jeopardy! when he gave an incorrect answer.

From there, Basile took the lead and won $4,000 in the last Daily Double.

Host Ken Jennings asked Jayaker about his bucket list — calling it a little “unusual” than most.

“It’s a list of fruits I want to try at some point, various things I’ve seen online or heard about,” Jayaker explained.

“I don’t know what most of them would taste like, but I’d like to know at some point.”

When asked what would be his most popular fruit at the moment, Jayaker replied Jabuticaba which is a fruit that grows on the bark of a tree in Brazil.
