Price Is Right fans called for the show to change a part of its format as viewers said a contestant went too far.
On the show, players often bid $1 more than their rival contestants, which is seen as a reliable strategy on The Price is Right.
One person on Monday’s broadcast had observers say they acted out of control.
The competitor criticized by viewers was Danielle Wagner.
The player was the first person of the night to be called to the stage.
She won nothing in the first two rounds of Contestant’s Row.

That’s when she changed her strategy using the $1 bidding method.
The tactic she used involves a competitor offering just one dollar more than the amount stated by the competing player.
They do this to try and secure a win without going over the actual retail price.
Although it can be a risky strategy, it often pays off if other competitors overestimate their bids – in Danielle’s case, that’s what happened.
She came closer to the price of the game.
Danielle ended up winning trips out of the country with the technique, but several fans didn’t like the way she approached the victory.
The player won trips to Ho Chi Minh City, in Vietnam, and Auckland, in New Zealand.
Despite the reason to celebrate, fans quickly took to social media to share their thoughts.
“I understand it’s a game and it’s a strategy, but bidding $1 for the same person multiple times seems a little timid to me,” wrote one viewer on the Price is Right forum.
The price is right, hosts

The Price is Right first appeared on TV in 1972. Fans fell in love with the game show so much that it has been on the air for over 50 years. Over that time, the show has had a few different hosts.
Find out who they are below:
- Bob Barker – 1972 to June 2007 (also became executive producer in 1988)
- Drew Carey – October 2007 to present
- Dennis James – replaced Bob in 1974 when he missed four episodes, also presented the nighttime version
- Craig Ferguson – 2014 April Fools’ Day Special
“So, winning it all this way? I guess all is fair in love and war. It’s a cruel world out there, Drew,” added another, referring to the show’s host, Drew Carey.
The contestant offered just $1 more than the previous person’s attempt on three separate occasions.
“Absolutely maddening,” said one fan.
“I wanted her to lose so bad. I was really rooting for the kid. But I knew he was dead or gone. If only he offered $500 less! Sad day.”
“For me, it was her attitude and behavior that was a bit strange,” said another person.
“Her pursed smile and little happy dance seemed arrogant somehow… Maybe because people usually show some kind of remorse or grace for $1 when they win, and she was like, yes, me! I did it,
“While the other person literally provided her with her offer.”
As the contestant faces pressure from angry fans online, host Drew has been accused of making a player lose his prize.
After it was the game show contestant’s turn to spin the wheel a few times, they needed help.
The host noticed that the player was struggling to get the wheel to move.
Drew asked if he could help them and when he helped them spin, the wheel made a full turn but landed on 15, which warranted another spin.
“I take the blame for this. Ronnie, I’m so sorry,” Drew told her as he shook her hand.
