DANGER! host Ken Jennings was seen alone in a new promotional clip as the show says goodbye to former host Mayim Bialik.
The danger! The official YouTube account uploads highlights from the episodes, followed by an informative message for viewers.
The short finale at the end used to feature Ken, 50, and former presenter Mayim, 48.
Until this week, the two were seen crammed together on Jeopardy! podium and sharing the script, telling fans to subscribe to the channel.
Mayim, however, was fired from the popular game show in late 2023.
Riding alone
Now, Danger! updated the quick segment placed at the end of his YouTube videos to feature just Ken.
“Hey, thanks for watching. Hit the subscribe button and don’t miss a moment,” Ken says now.
Since Ken is the host of Jeopardy! alone for the entire year 2024, many fans were happy to see that the clip had been updated.
“New ending without Mayim and just Ken. I wondered when they would be able to change that,” one person commented on the first video with the new outro.
“New other one! Glad they finally removed Mayim Bialik!” a second wrote.
“Yay! Finally,” added a third.
“That seemed like the most likely answer. Also… new ending!” another pointed out.
BYE, MAYIM
Following the death of longtime host Alex Trebek in 2020, the Big Bang Theory actress and former champion took the reins, initially sharing hosting duties.
Mayim was abruptly let go from Jeopardy! in December, making Ken the sole host.
On December 15, 2023, she broke the Internet by personally announcing on Instagram that she had been fired from the show.
“Sony has informed me that I will no longer be hosting the syndicated version of Jeopardy!,” she revealed in her post.
Danger! Host timeline

Danger! has had a tumultuous history regarding hosts following the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are every host since the game show’s inception in 1964.
Art Fleming – from 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.
Alex Trebek – From 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted the modern iteration of Jeopardy! for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.
Guest Hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! tested a series of guest hosts for one- or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton and Aaron Rodgers.
Mike Richards – 2021, he was named host for a week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.
Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.
Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the winningest contestant of all time) joined Mayim as guest host and they shared hosting duties.
Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! After a long hiatus, having defended the writers’ strike, Ken was named sole host.
Ken now runs all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the late night show and other primetime specials such as Masters.
“I am extremely honored to have been nominated for a Primetime Emmy as this year’s host and deeply grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Jeopardy! family.
“To all of you who have supported me on this journey and to the fans, contestants, writers, staff of America’s favorite quiz show, thank you.”
About an hour later, the official Jeopardy! The IG page confirmed the news.
“We have made the decision to have a host for the syndicated show next season to maintain continuity for our viewers,” the statement explained.
“We are truly grateful for all of Mayim’s contributions to Jeopardy! and we look forward to working with her in the future on primetime specials,” the game show wrote.
Ken also spoke about Mayim’s dismissal, saying USA today that he “learned a lot from her”.
“I really enjoyed her hosting,” he added. “But I get it – there’s a reason why TV shows don’t usually have two hosts.”
