DANGER! Contestant Isaac Hirsch is currently on a winning streak and has also turned heads for his eye-catching wardrobe choices.

The contestant from Burbank, Calif., clapped back at his style haters and shared surprising insights into his Jeopardy! run on Instagram.

As of Monday, Isaac has racked up four consecutive wins and a tremendous total of $100,586.

He has claimed three of his four wins in runaway fashion, averaging more than $25,000 per game – with fans now thinking he could be the next long-time champion.

But speaking of fashion, he also attracted attention with his competition looks, which are unmistakably reminiscent of 1970s men’s fashion.

“That current champion looks like a 70s porn star,” one Facebook user recently posted during his run.

“I think Isaac arrived at Studio 54 after recording that show,” scoffed another.

“This guy makes me look forward to the next game! What will he wear?” wrote a third. “He’s quirky and funny… and super smart! We should have more people like that in our lives!”

‘THE INTERNET IS DIVIDED’

Isaac shared a lengthy Instagram post over the weekend reflecting on his sudden winning streak and, yes, his attacks.

“Well, this is going better than expected!” he started in the caption. “By the weekend, I am now a 3-day champion with earnings in excess of $70,000.”

Isaac explained that he was a “local substitute” waiting for some time to compete.

The game show regularly rotates shifts when a scheduled contestant drops out.

“I went into it with little confidence – as a local substitute I watched seven games being filmed before recording.

“AND [I] I found myself doing poorly in the green room and having trouble with the buzzer in rehearsal.”

“But at this point I’ve kind of figured out the bell and they’re asking about things I’ve heard about, which is really sweet of them. We’ll see if I can keep things going next week!”

He added: “The Internet is divided over my love of 70s menswear.

Danger! Universe

Danger! it first aired in 1964 until 1975. Then, the nighttime version began in 1974. Since then, many spinoffs of the game show have emerged. Here they are all:

Danger! – (syndicated) 1974 to present, weekdays on ABC at 7pm ET.

Tournament of Champions – 1984 to present, features the top champions who have appeared on the show since the last tournament.

Second Chance Tournament – 2022 to Present features hand-selected non-winners from the previous season, where the prize is entry into the Champions Wildcard.

Champions Wildcard – 2023 to present, features all one-, two-, and three-day champions from the previous season that are eligible for entry into the Tournament of Champions.

Danger! Invitational Tournament (distribution) – from 2023 to the present, features big names from the past invited by producers to compete for a place in the Masters.

Danger! Masters (primetime) – from 2023 to present, features the six Jeopardy! champions competing against each other.

Celebrity Danger! (Primetime) – From 1992 to the present, celebrities compete against each other to raise money for charity.

Pop Culture Jeopardy (streaming) – from 2024 to present, will feature teams of three in charge of pop culture trivia on Amazon Prime, host and air date to be determined

Danger! eliminated specialized tournaments, such as University Tournaments, Children’s Week and Teacher’s Tournament, to move towards a more sporting model, with the Masters being the top of the Jeopardy pyramid.

Other versions of Jeopardy! have also failed over the years, such as Sports Jeopardy!.

“Good news for the haters: I’m almost out of wardrobe-approved vintage shirts.

“So if I keep winning, the attacks will be much more moderate.

“I should also mention that my last two shirts were gifts from my stylist/girlfriend.”

His Instagram post included a slideshow of photos of life moments he referenced on the show in his blockbuster anecdotes.

He showed off his wrecked car, which had a cameo on the TV show Brooklyn 99, and a photo of him “ironically” winning high school homecoming king.

He also proudly included a photo of his father, Steve Hirsch, competing on the show in 1985.

LIKE FATHER LIKE SON!

During his first win, Isaac recalled on stage that his father appeared on Jeopardy! – and lost – 30 years ago.

“My dad was on Jeopardy! in the 80s and one of the first years Alex hosted, and he lost,” Isaac said.

“I used to tease him about it as a kid. Like ‘I Lost On Jeopardy!’ from Weird Al, being like, ‘It’s about you, dad!’”

Ken started laughing as Isaac concluded, “So today we’re going to find out how real karma is.”

Danger! shared a video on Instagram of Isaac’s story, and his father, Steven, chimed in in the comments section, wanting a second chance.

“If Ken Jennings keeps mentioning that I lost on Jeopardy, I want another chance! Bring me back for another chance to win!” he wrote.

GAME SHOW KING

Meanwhile, Isaac – who was previously a stand-up comedian – is also no stranger to the game show circuit.

In 2023, he won $140,000 on the ABC game show The Chase, defeating Chaser and nine-day Jeopardy! champion Buzzy Cohen.

In 2017, Isaac also appeared on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, winning $5,000 after answering the $20,000 question incorrectly.

On Reddit, a viewer recently mentioned how they recognized him from the ABC show The Chase — and Isaac didn’t hold back on his stricter rules.

“They wouldn’t let me dress like myself on The Chase,” he wrote.

Isaac will be looking for his fifth victory on Tuesday, which would qualify him for the next Tournament of Champions.

The other qualifiers are Drew, Adriana Harmeyer (15 wins), Alison Betts (5 wins) and Dr. Amy Hummel (5 wins) and Lisa Ann Walter from Celebrity Jeopardy!

With four wins, Grant DeYoung and Amar Kakirde are also likely to participate.

“Well… I think Isaac might be here for a while,” wrote one Redditor after his most recent decisive victory.

“Yes, Isaac is winning these games impressively,” wrote another. “But he is also winning the interview part of the program. I don’t recall any contestant having as funny and/or charming a series of jokes as he did to begin his time on the show.”

Danger! airs at 7pm ET – check your local listings.
