Danger! was interrupted before host Ken Jennings announced Final Jeopardy! category.

It switched to an ABC breaking news broadcast of Biden’s press conference.

Spectators who were able to watch saw Isaac win his seventh game on Thursday.

After his triumph, he responded to the interruption on X, formerly Twitter.

“Not to get too political, but I think it was very rude of President Biden to preempt Jeopardy for a press conference,” he posted.

He jokingly added that Biden said, “‘I should be impeached’ as a Jeopardy champion and that he would ‘shave off (my) mustache’ with his bare hands.”

One fan commented on the post: “Isaac, you didn’t bring enough fun shirts and now they’re putting you in the show’s more subdued options?”

“All my other fun t-shirts didn’t pass the Jeopardy camera test, so now let’s move on to my ‘job interview’ t-shirts,” Isaac joked back.

The competitor from Burbank, California, attracted attention with his quirky ’70s-style suits and shirts.

“That current champion looks like a 70s porn star,” wrote one Facebook user last week.

Another joked that Isaac “hit Studio 54” after recording the episode.

Isaac responded good-naturedly to criticism of his funky outfits in a lengthy Instagram post.

“The Internet is divided over my love of 70s menswear,” he began.

Danger! Host timeline

Danger! has had a tumultuous history regarding hosts following the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are every host since the game show’s inception in 1964.

Art Fleming – from 1964 to 1975, he was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.

Alex Trebek – From 1984 to 2020, the late, great Alex hosted the modern iteration of Jeopardy! for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.

Guest Hosts – 2020 to 2021, Jeopardy! tested a series of guest hosts for one- or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton and Aaron Rodgers.

Mike Richards – 2021, he was named host for a week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.

Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023, when Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.

Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023, 74-time champion Ken (the winningest contestant of all time) joined Mayim as guest host and they shared hosting duties.

Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! After a long hiatus, having defended the writers’ strike, Ken was named sole host.

Ken now runs all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the late night show and other primetime specials such as Masters.

“Good news for the haters: I’m almost out of wardrobe-approved vintage shirts.

“So if I keep winning, the attacks will become much more subdued. I should also mention that my last two shirts were gifts from my stylist/girlfriend.”

Isaac also shared a proud photo of his father, Steve Hirsch, competing on Jeopardy! in 1985.

The game show whiz previously revealed that he wasn’t able to showcase his full fashion talent on ABC’s The Chase.

Last week, fans recalled watching him compete on the 2023 game show, in which he won $140,000 after defeating the nine-day Jeopardy! champion Buzzy Cohen.

“They didn’t let me dress like myself on The Chase,” Isaac said of the show’s wardrobe rules in a Reddit thread.

The reality TV star also appeared on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in 2017 and won $5,000.
